We loved our stay at Beresheet Hotel, the breakfast was over the top. The staff was really friendly and nice to our kids, especially at the restaurant, where you can also order a kids menu. There is a kids room with many toys, puzzles, crayons and paper and much more as well as playstations for the older ones, so really perfect for kids, our daughter loved it. Theres also a cinema with 2 movies a day and a kids pool- so also relaxing for parents and with enough entertainment for the kids. Overall we just left the hotel for about 1h - as everything needed was there and we just wanted to relax!

Upon arrival, although there may not be a traditional greeting, the instructions provided are flawlessly executed, ensuring a seamless check-in process. During my stay, I had the opportunity to explore the single room and family room options, but I ultimately chose the Garden Room, a remarkable two-level accommodation. The lower level features a comfortable living room, a well-appointed bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen, while the upper floor offers a spacious and inviting bedroom. One standout feature of the Ibex Unique Desert Inn is its exceptional cleanliness. Every inch of the establishment exudes a sense of freshness and tidiness, creating a delightful ambiance for guests. In the main building, guests can enjoy a generously sized living room that provides ample space for relaxation. Complete with a large television, cozy seating areas, and even an espresso machine, it ensures that guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast experience at this inn is truly a delight. Served in a separate location, it is a carefully crafted affair. The offerings are thoughtfully prepared, featuring an assortment of delectable spreads, perfectly cooked omelettes, and freshly brewed cappuccinos. It is a culinary experience that pleases the palate. It's worth noting that the single room and family room do not include televisions. However, this seems inconsequential as the true allure of the Ibex Unique Desert Inn lies in its surroundings and the unique experiences it offers. Guests who visit this extraordinary establishment are unlikely to prioritize television entertainment.

    Overall a great place to stay however front desk had problems communicating in English. In addition request for blankets for star gazing. Request midday not a problem however when time to collect from front desk not only was the request not completed the gentleman was rude and arrogant.

    The reservation was for a 2 room bungalow with a garden view...

    The reservation was for a 2 room bungalow with a garden view. What we got was a tent with mattresses. No garden as pictured. No electricity. Bathroom was across the road & at 4:40 in the morning it was dark.

    A cute little town, with some interesting artists' shops, cafes, workshops, and a connection to the desert (wild goats coming in for a visit...). A good travel destination, but I wouldn't want to live there - it's too far away from everything.

    It was calming and quiet.

    It was calming and quiet. Hot During the day but beautifully cool from the late afternoon until.the morning. There's enough to do for a few days stay. Good sources of food available from homemade breads, quiches, desserts and sandwiches to "al ha'esh to upscale. 2 1/2 hours drive from Jerusalem. The night sky tours are spectacular (except during full moon!) The MR visitors Center has a wonderful program, definitely worthwhile. About an hour long(?) but fine for kids.

    Mitzpe Ramon has many unique features especially if you are a space enthusiast, thanks to low light pollution you can often see a shooting star. there are great extreme riding opportunities inside the creator. And there are plenty of electrical car charging stations scattered throughout the city

    Mitzpe Ramon is magical.

    Mitzpe Ramon is magical. You can enjoy a different view depending on the time of day. Make sure you get to see the sunset on the promenade and watch the mountains change colors. There are many trails - the easiest is to walk along the promenade. If you want to hike, make sure you take plenty of water and a good trail map. You can get info at the visitors center - which is well worth visiting. They have a lovely light show exhibition that explains how this erosion crater "machtesh" was formed. The crater is a geological wonder. It is also fun to see the ibexes (mountain goats) walking down the streets of the city.

    We had a great time at the desert shade camp. Maya was so lovely and accommodating. She got us towels and was so helpful. We had an air conditioned cabin which was simple but felt authentic and was a very unique stay. We had a delicious breakfast in the morning with hummus and coffee and dates. There was no dinner option but there were lots of nearby restaurants that were lovely and reasonably priced. An amazing view of the crater and a great stay would definitely recommend.
