Amritsar is an old city. The infrastructure is very old may be before 1947(Independence). Nearby Gurudwara, roads are Very conjusted in day time so it would be better to park your vehicle n travel by easy rickshaw.
Its feels very lively while visiting there. I always feel blessed to visit Gurudwara Harmandar saheb
(Dhan Guru Ramdas Saheb ji).
I would suggest you to visit once n get the blessings of Guru Ramdas ji🙏🏼🙏🏼

One of the most peaceful devotion places you can visit in India. Not crowded in the early morning, and full of respectful devotees. Being a woman travelling solo in the area, it was really comforting the welcoming atmosphere of the area.

Very Friendly city and the food is so good. Some of the cab guys can keep pushing you to go to shops that they want you to go to. Do a check with reviews to decide where you want to shop and eat. A four day trip would have covered it better ( we stayed for 2 days). Go to the War Museum on the way to the Pakistan border also

Amritsar is a must visit place for all travel loving folks. There are some beautiful locations which are breathtaking in Amritsar.
I visited the iconic Golden Temple of Amritsar and also spent some time in Nexus Ambarasar Mall.
Getting across Amritsar is simple & easy with Rapido bike services available in Amritsar.
What I didn't like in Amritsar was the heaps & heaps of garbage lying across all the roads & bylanes of Amritsar.

The Golden Temple is a must see along with the Partition Museum. Bazaar shopping & plenty of places to eat in Amritsar. It is very busy around the Temple but has been pedestrianised which makes it easier to get around.
Plan half a day for the museum to fully take in the exhibition
Jalianwala Bagh was very special to visit with a beautiful memorial garden and historical facts to explain why it was created

Courteous and decent staff well dressed. The Location is superb near Golden Temple and Main touristy places. Well connected to local street food and Cloth market. We got our both rooms early at 11 am. Hotel concierge arranged our day tour to border retreat ceremony. This area was very busy but so intrested.

This hotel is perfect place to visit Amritsar. The location is great only 5 min from Golden temple . Mr Mandeep the manager he arranged a different complementary punjabi breakfast Amritsar kulcha and parantha with tea and coffee .very comfortable stay.Thanks for everything. Highly recommend.
