It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very...
It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very spread out and at night the wild dogs are quite agressive which I struggled with. I enjoy walking, but here you need to have a car / scooter or take lots of taxis.
The market was good, we ate in nice restaurants like The Tanjore Tiffin (a bit more up market and we loved it), MS Slow Tide and Pirates Cafe on the beach. We also had a night out in Juna nightclub - good fun with great cocktails.
Overall I didn't like Anjuna much, we were there in the low season and we struggled with getting around and all the dogs. It really depends what you're looking for, but for me Candolim was a better location and we left Anjuna early to return there.

The best thing about the area Anjuna is its good location, near to beach, not overcrowded, not over commercialised. The cafes and restaurants offer good food and ambience. Facilities such as Spa, good restaurants, markets is very near. If you want to relax away from city life, come to anjuna.

This is the best stay i ever had in goa. Staff and reception brother help me alot cos i forget my nike shoes in my locker and went to panjim he took them and came up to baga to give them back to me no other hotel staff will do this help I'll really thankful to him. And i even same few frinds in that stay. I'll definitely say couples and frinds even solo travellers go to this place if possible its really worth staying very clean and good

Location was ideal, set back from the road for a peaceful experience but close enough to all the things you'd want to see in Goa. Breakfast was great - as we eat eggs, we thought there were plenty of options. Everything tasted really good :) Staff are friendly and helpful, they got us a taxi to our bus stop for a fair price.

If you are foreigner and have some doubts where to stay in anjuna it's definitely one of the friendliest places out there,

Wonderful stay at Baga Courtyard, Goa!
Spacious, clean rooms and a peaceful location near the beach. The staff was very friendly, and the swimming pool was clean and perfect for relaxing. Great value for a calm getaway. Highly recommend!
