Limited sight-seeing but experiencing the city is worth a visit. Food is amazing - kebabs for non-vegetarians and chaat for vegetarians. Great shopping experience. Culturally active with plays, ghazals etc taking place live, keep an eye on www.bookmyshow.com for Lucknow during visit dates. Walking around the city for glimpses of living history such as Nawab's buildings still being used as railway station, government offices, colleges etc. Women may feel uncomfortable wearing sleeveless or shorts/short skirts

Lucknow being one of the oldest City having rich heritage, culture and delecious food is worth exploring.
The traditional cloth market at Hazratganj and Ameenabad is worth exploring.
The food joints are simply amazing. This is a mixture of old traditional city with modern facilities. Gomti Nagar has vide roads, good cafe's and restaurant to be explored.

It was a short buisness Trip to Lucknow. Well connected to Railway, can get easy metro service to Airport. It takes me 30 minutes from Airport to Hotel. New property. Well behaved staff. Well managed property, the house keeping staff and Room service staffs behaviour is praise worthy
