We were only in Pune for a week as we were attending a 3 day wedding event. Our friends took us out for breakfast when we arrived. We had to do a bit of shopping for the wedding & the Phonenix Shop Centre was in walking distance, we had load of variety of shops. We had lunch there and all was very good, clean restaurants. Unfortunately we didn't get to explore Pune which was a shame.

Pune is my old haunt. From NDA days in 1967 till date have stayed in Pune many times. It is changing fast. I miss old Pune.
Old Marzorin, Budhani wafers, Pasteur Bakery, Kayani biscuits. Missed the old landmark; The Westend Cinema.

Sorry to say, But Pune local People do not have driving sense, specially bikers, every one is in hurry and Horn is blow like pulse rate, never it is quite. if you even put slight break, the rear person start honking. Too stressful.

The hotel is just outside the Pune junction railway station so you don't even have to take rickshaw.
The rooms were spacious, staff was friendly and helpful. The services provided was prompt. They have kept 2 dogs and are super friendly.
