SwitzerlandFirst of all the staff: corteous, competent, smiling: in the dining hall, on the beach premises, in the lobby. During our stay at the hotel there have also been some busy days: staff members didn't change attitude: they always met us with a smile, a kind word, trying to take care of a wish or the expressed need. A special compliment goes to Babyrose, Antika and Uday who made us "feel at home". Then we liked the wonderful, long, sandy beach, perfect for walks and enjoy the arabic sea. For those who like to swim it's a very good place: you can have nice swims both in the sea (usually calm, warm water) and in the large pool of the hotel: we never found it overcrowded; there were separate, bounded areas for children and adults. We also liked the food. We stayed for six nights so we decided to have three dinners at hotel enjoying the buffet and went out for three other nights. Along the beach, within walking distance there are various schacks which serve good food, especially fish and, if you wish (as we did) you can enjoy it right on the shore, in front of the sea. But also the food served at the buffet of the resort was good and varied with many indian - and goan - dishes. Same to say for the breakfast with a pretty big choice were you could have indian specialities or more - for us - traditionals like bread, toasts, cakes, butter, eggs or whatever (including fresh fruit juices).
Last but not least, we appreciated together with the huge, lush garden (and the many birds), the cleanliness of the property: there was allways somebody around cleaning or tyding up.

We just spent 4 wonderful days at Caravela Beach Resort, Goa...
We just spent 4 wonderful days at Caravela Beach Resort, Goa, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made us feel at home.
The property itself is pristine, the beach is beautifully maintained and so clean, and the food—absolutely delicious! Every meal felt like a treat, lovingly served by the most courteous staff. The highlight for me was the mini golf, which completely won my heart, while my little one had the time of her life exploring, playing, and soaking in the joy of the resort—so much so that she isn’t ready to go back to Gurgaon!
A heartfelt thanks to everyone who made our stay special—there are too many names to remember, but a special mention to Pooja and Saroja at the front desk, Satya Narayan Singh, Amit, Nitika from restaurant and Fatima from housekeeping, and Babyrose from guest reception. Each one of you went above and beyond to make our holiday truly memorable.
Kudos to the entire Caravela team, you’ve given us memories to cherish, and we can’t wait to be back!

Less crowds at beaches so good for privacy. Food joints/ grocery shops limited compared to North Goa (except the market place). Most South Goa beaches nearby. Cheaper stays than North Goa. Peaceful place. Transportation costly and may be an issue depending on where you stay

We stayed in Caravela Beach Resort for one beautiful and resftful week. In this time, my family and I were able to relax and unwind to our hearts content. The service and accomodation at Caravela beach resort was superb as it encompassed all the kind, caring and openly-communicative staff. Everyone from the cleaning staff, the buggy drivers, the welcoming receptionist, the waiters, the bar tenders, life guards, security and ALL the managers made sure that we were fully satisfied with our stay. They have gone above and beyond what anyone would expect from the services of a hotel. A massive shoutout to Ankit, Shavon, Madonna, Koshal and ALL the managers who always approached us and checked on us wherever we were in the hotel if we ever needed any assistance for anything. We cannot remember everyone's names, but if we can; We would list down everyone's names. We highly recommend this hotel to any tourist or holiday makers. Thank you Caravela!

Huge beach, quiet, white sands, could swim in sea [albeit a sign warning of jelly fish – so we didn’t risk it] Lifeguard on duty for hotel. We had private beach area in front of hotel. Much quieter than the beaches north goa - less commercialised. Only about 4 / 5 shacks – excellent food and cheap as chips. Completely different experience to north Goa. There is very little to no shopping nearby - need to take a taxi to local towns. If you want a quiet relaxing holiday - Varca is the place.

Perfect location. Secluded beachfront resort. Private and clean beach. Great Indian food options - also for vegetarians and Jains. Friendly staff. Beautiful property to enjoy with lush gardens and lawns. Loved it overall.
You will need a car/bike to travel around. Cabs from the hotels are expensive. There are food joints close to the resort if you are looking for more cuisines.

The staff is very helpful and helps to cordinate to reach to the property!
The manager is quite helpful as well, overall this place is pretty clean and very close to the Varca main road and market.
There are 2-3 restaurant available nearby which is handy for a quick breakfast. It's about 7-8 mins drive from Varca Beach.
The property is definitely a steal deal!

we enjoyed our stay, hotel is set on beautiful grounds and direct access to one of the most beautiful clean beaches.
Communal areas are spacious, pool is beautiful with a wonderful flow and sunken swim up bar.
We stayed in a deluxe room, which was spacious enough.staff were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate to your needs.

I extremely loved the staff(Jyoti) and the hotel manager behaviour of speaking with the guests....The restaurant staff was also very humble in explaining about the foods....Their beach restaurant OUZA was very impressive because of its locaton and food....

It has perfect location with just 3-4 mins walk to Varca Beach. But rest all - its all pathetic. Old and broken property / outsourced restaurant which does not care at all neither for quality nor for taste.
