IrelandMy friend and I stayed here for one night as a base for visiting the blue lagoon and returning our rental car to the airport early the following morning. It was perfect and had everything we needed, it was one of our fav places we stayed on our entire trip. There was plenty of towels and toiletries supplied, more so than bigger hotels we stayed at in Reykjavik, and the kitchen/tv are awas comfy. Beds were very comfy and spacious bathroom.

CanadaAn amazing property located in Gardur on the Reyksjanes peninsula. We booked this place to be somewhere a bit quieter but still not too far from Reykjavik, and it fit the brief perfectly. Only around 10-15 mins drive from Keflavík airport and 1 hour from Reykjavik. Do keep in mind that there’s not really any reasonable public transportation links to the city, so you’d really want to have a car. The area is really beautiful and super peaceful. It’s just a stone’s throw from a lovely path along the shoreline of Flaxaflói bay. There aren’t really amenities in town, but there are plenty in Reyksjanesbær / Keflavík, about 15 mins drive away, as well as a couple of really great restaurants a few minutes away at the lighthouse. The house was clean, modern and very comfortable. Especially loved the shower and bath - having bath salts was a really nice touch! We didn’t personally meet Lukasz, but he was super friendly and responsive and kept us thoroughly informed. We arrived really early in the morning and without much sleep, and because the house was already available, he got it ready for us overnight so we could check-in right away. Absolutely A+ gesture. A really unforgettable stay that I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend.

Gardur is a convenient location close to the airport. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, The access was easy with no stairs for brining in luggage. I liked the small town and visiting the lighthouses nearby. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.

Loved the location, right next to the airport but also by the coast so some lovely walks and a nice restaurant at the lighthouse.
Easy to get around if you have a car, we drove into Reykjavík a couple of times and it’s only about an hour away. We met one of the hosts and he was lovely.
The cabin itself is really cute and nicely decorated, beds are pretty comfy and you can login to your Netflix etc. There’s also a fridge and little freezer and plenty of parking.

The Bay View apartment is a very special place, a big apartment with great style at the sea side. Unforgettable is the sight from the hot tub to the bay, but also the living room and kitchen are simply extraordinary. Gardur is a great base to visit the Reykjanes peninsula and as location nearby the airport. We loved it- and would like to come back!

The location is just unbelievably beautiful, the rooms are big and clean, all facilities and room amenities are available and its cheap. So its a perfect value for money hotel.
