MexicoThe room was great and very spacious. The room was clean and fresh. It is very close to the airport so that is a huge plus. However, they do not offer a shuttle to the airport (I imagined it would have due to the close distance). I had to ask reception to call for our taxi to get to the airport, which was like a 5 min drive. I would stay here again, it was worth the money for the value.

We stopped for one night during our Iceland tour to visit the Blue Lagoon and Fagradalsfjall, the volcano that erupted in 2021 and is still smoldering several months later. Grindavik is a working fishing village with a few local restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy, so is a really good spot to stay for a day when touring Iceland. Grindavik is a lovely town with a huge fisherman history. It's super close to the Blue lagoon and volcano so, there are many options for hiking or relaxing. There's a grill place with a super nice man who told me a little about the history and life of Grindavik's people and he also sells awesome hotdogs.
