CanadaBright Cabin was one of my favourite places while in Iceland for accommodation. The cabin was clean, well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was outstanding. The bottle of Preseco and chocolate bar left by the host was a wonderful touch.

The common areas are cozy and inviting, with board games available, as well as complimentary coffee and tea. There are also nice spots where you can just sit and relax. Great location if you are looking for accommodation as part of planning to do the Golden Circle. Circa 40-45 minute drive to Thinvellir. Grocery store nearby (sells good quality sushi) however only a few eating out options.

This is an extremely good value for money hotel , away from the city but within easy reach and excellent transport links. It’s basic but clean and comfortable with lovely views overlooking the mountains. It’s in an amazing location for viewing the northern lights. The staff are super friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay again

Ásta was always friendly and helpful in our email exchanges. The flat was downstairs in a semi detached building, which you approached along one side. The key was in a small box outside the entrance.
The attractive township of Mosfellsbær ( Moor Mountain Township )is nearby ,with Reykjavík not far away.

Easy to find hotel, nice staff and welcome in the pub, easy for petrol, shopping and take away food options. Good for staying out of Reykjavik and very close to the golden circle
