The staff allowed early check-in having our room ready by just after midday. I read the reviews about the restaurant so was hesitant to eat there that night after walking around Catania.
The previous restaurant reviews are far from the truth the restaurant in the hotel is excellent, especially the staff, the quality of flavours of food and selection variety was as good as any town in Sicily. They even had a local draft beer very refreshing after a long drive.
The room was on the ground floor but well appointed and insulated plus a large double comfy bed and good shower wash room and facilities.
We hadn’t booked Ocean views but for a basic room we got great Ocean views and the late checkout time allowed us to walk around the Catania in the morning before driving out to the airport.
Couldn’t fault the place and would recommend a short stay here. Reception staff excellent and so helpful and friendly always there with a warm smile. Thank you to all your team. Will recommend this place to our friends in Australia.

Parking was easy close by. Close to Catania Airport and Etna. A lovely breakfast is included in the price which made this stay very good value for money

NetherlandsOur absolute best stay during our 2 week visit to Sicily! We stayed in apt 1 with a lovely terrace and fully equipped kitchen. The separate bedroom was super quiet and cool during the hot nights. Everything was brand new.
The whole location is lovely and we were so lucky to have the place and pool to ourselves during our stay. Our host made our stay even more special by bringing us cake and some ice cream during the warm summer nights.
Cannot recommend this place enough!

ItalySara is an amazing host, she gave us a huge room and she’s been always available for any question and attentive to her guests. Every morning she arranged for us a delicious breakfast at the bar nearby and our room was cleaned (and towels changed) after the first two days of our staying.
Palazzo Framì is a beautiful old building that the owners have renovated with taste and attention to the details. The terrace at the top floor is stunning with a beautiful view on the Basilica di San Sebastiano, perfect for an early morning coffee or a late afternoon glass of wine.
We will definitely go back and I highly recommend this accommodation!

The host,Marco, was great.
The host,Marco, was great. He made great suggestions for dining.The apartment was very nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. The view of Mount Etna and the ocean was a real plus.
We didn’t see too much of Acireale because we did day trips to Etna and Taormina. Travel was difficult,but worthwhile when we got to our destinations. Due to some guests physical limitations,we didn’t walk around the city too much. Would recommend this Apartment.

The town is wonderful and filled with history. we where lucky enough to visit during their carnival, which is something special especially with children.
Even the locals are wonderful, mornings in the piazza's are like from a movie, time moving slowly and everyone talking to each other over a coffee.
I loved it and looking forward to visit again.

Acireale is a peaceful small city.
Acireale is a peaceful small city. Although not so big but has a lot to offer. The carnival is the main highlight of the city. Piazza Duomo is a lovely square in which there are various churches, restaurants, cafeterias, and outlets within a small walking distance.
There are a couple of interesting sites to visit such as the Duomo of Saint Sebastian, the Acireale Cathedral dedicated to the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary where you can go up to the bell tower, and various other adjacent churches. The Museo dei Pupi is also another must-visit site. The museum is about the art of puppetry, an art dating back centuries ago and which still was in place until the 70s. The Biblioteca Zelantea is another site that retraces the history of the city with a library containing historical books and documentation, paintings, statues, and other historical artifacts.
The negative aspects of the city circle around the rubbish on the streets and various buildings requiring extensive restoration because they are old and shabby.

We stayed in Acireale so that we were fairly central without being in the middle of busy Catania. It was exactly what we had hoped for. A quiet, peaceful traditional sicilian town without the hustle and bustle. It is easy to get to and from the centre and the train station using a shuttle bus and there are regular trains to Catania, Taormina and further afield each day. Despite being a small town there were plenty of places to eat and drink, including some restaurants which could provide gluten free food for coeliacs and a dedicated gluten free bakery which was absolutely divine! We went in August which was also carnival time which was wonderful to watch.

There are much better place to stay in Sicily.
Acireale has very limited restaurants.. good for sea food lovers. Food was expensive! but not much varieties of Italian pizza and pasta! Views were good but Acireale is very quite and 25 minutes walk to the near place! No trains, trams and bus service! You have only two options to travel… walk or taxi. Sea looked beautiful but it was Rocky so I wasn’t comfortable to swim. Toarmina was good great. Avoid sea in Acireale. Go to south where you can find sandy beaches

The best accomodation we have ever stayed in, whilst in Sicily. The owner Daniela, is so welcoming and lovely. She makes sure to accomodate you. The rooms are truly clean and the place is so serene. The breakfast is genuine and all items are bought and made fresh daily. We were a family of 7 including children and elderly and the place was perfect for all. The pool area is also nice and with a nice view of the garden.

It is a palace in the downtown, spacious accommodation, large inner courtyard with parking among the narrow streets of the inner city. The hosts are as friendly as possible, we received lots of useful tips, they really made our holiday in Sicily more enjoyable.
