New ZealandWe had the house to ourselves when 2 other couples could have booked a room there too. Air con in the room, 2 single beds side by side, huge kitchen, outdoor furniture. The owner gave us some plums from the tree. We managed to get our Harley Davidson motorbike within the premises for security reasons. Very happy with the place and we are coming back next week.

It has a superb location, the view from our room was stunning and the one from the restaurant is even better. Delightful small town, that epitomizes what a local seaside community is like in Calabria. Not at all like your busier touristy beach locations like Tropea and Scilla (which are beautiful nonetheless) - Bagnara leaves you with a realistic impression of life in Calabria.

It was off the tourist track therefore you got to see the authentic part of southern Italy. Food there was exceptional and much cheaper than other parts of Italy. People there were very warm and genuine.

The location of the hotel on the sea front is excellent. The hotel room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet, given how busy and noisy it was in the town. We had a meal in the restaurant which was great and the staff there were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was very comprehensive and excellent quality.
