The highlight for me was definitely the bed and the pillow that I've slept on. I have never seen anything more comfortable. I have even checked tags to see their brand so that I could order them at home but unfortunately it wasn't written anywhere.

The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive—especially Nicolo, who was remarkably detail-oriented, exceptionally polite, and provided top-class service. The room service was also excellent. I had left some personal gifts in the fridge, and after the room was cleaned, they thoughtfully returned to me. That was such a nice touch! Breakfast was truly good, with high-quality products. The bar also deserves a mention—they make really great cocktails and excellent coffee! The room itself was very comfortable, with cozy beds, an efficient air conditioning system, and blackout blinds that made the room perfectly dark for a great night’s sleep. Overall, a fantastic experience!

BrazilI absolutely loved this hotel! My room was very clean, a good size despite the single bed and had a balcony with a beautiful, peaceful view. The bed was very comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly and polite, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was fabulous, with a good variety and delicious coffee. And the location was also good, on a quiet street with easy access to the train station. I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Important Port of Saintly Significance
The Apulian capital Bari has been known for its port since Roman times. Nowadays there are 2 harbours: cruise ships and ferries to Greece and Croatia depart from the new port, while the old port shelters fishing vessels.
Between them is a seafront road bordering the real attraction – the old town. Narrow, cobbled streets lead under arches to hidden piazzas with pavement cafes. Many are on adjoining Piazza Mercantile and Piazza del Ferrarese, where the old Roman road is exposed.
The imposing 12th-century Norman-Swabian Castle guards the west of the historic centre, and the simple Cathedral of San Sabino is from the same period. Equally understated is the Basilica of St Nicholas, housing relics of the saint. Pope John Paul II once prayed there, which may have given rise to Bari Airport’s name: Karol Wojtyła Airport.
Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the meeting point of the old town and the Murat district, built under orders of Napoleon’s brother-in-law. Facing each other across this street are the colourful façades of the municipal office and Piccinni Theatre, though most prestigious is the Petruzzelli Theatre opera house.
Booking.com’s Bari accommodation includes luxury hotels by the Fiera del Levante, cheap city centre apartments, and B&Bs near the train station. For families, the slides and swimming pools of Bari Acquapark make a great day out.

Our visit to Bari was absolutely delightful! The city truly comes alive during the holiday season—the Christmas market is magical, full of festive lights, local crafts, and a warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
The people of Bari are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and share a smile. It’s easy to fall in love with the charm of the old town and the stunning seaside views.
Food lovers will be in heaven here! The seafood is fresh and delicious, with plenty of traditional dishes to try. However, one thing we wouldn’t recommend is the octopus burgers—they were a bit too adventurous for our taste.
Overall, Bari is a fantastic destination for culture, food, and holiday spirit. We can’t wait to return!

Would not recommend this place during cold season as the temperatures in end of November while we were visiting were very low (5-14C) with cold winds. The downtown and downtown ocean front of Bari is very beautiful and clean but we can't tell that about rest of the town. Trashy streets, many graffities on historical buildings, and immigrants that killed the ITALIAN atmosphere. We (and all the guest) were being bothered by them on the streets and even during our breakfast, coffee brakes , romantic lunches and dinners trying to sell us "souvenirs". We really enjoyed the foods and the feel of history.

Not stunningly beautiful - it's no Florence - but very interesting especially in the old city (wonderful warren of alleyways), and with an extremely interesting history. Still lived in - not entirely taken over by AirBnBs - and obviously much loved by the residents and their cats. Very clean and tidy, but a bit of a graffiti problem. Usual glorious Italian shop fronts along the main drags. Good selection of restaurants - special hat-tip to Ristorante Perbacco - and the city's special food (assassin Pasta) is interesting.
An excellent base for travelling in the region.

very historic town, food is out of this world, lots of nice towns to visit in the vicinity too. the old town of Bari has a lot of character. if you like shopping there are all the big brands available here. The only problem is parking if you have your own car. Parking is a nightmare and very expensive.

This city was wonderful.
This city was wonderful. The Old Town is great to visit and get lost in all the alleys. There are so many historic buildings, shops, restaurants and sea views. I've been to other areas of Italy and this city is less crowded and a gem at night. We stayed a block from Old Town which was perfect for walking. Be surento stroll Bari Vecchia to watch the women make their pasta. I recommend seeing if there is a show at the theater. We saw a string quartet perform and it was excellent.

Perfect location at the main street separating the Old Town from the rest of the city. Lot's of excellent restaurants, bars and fashion boutiques all around. The apartment is cozy very well equipped and air conditioned with the amazing see view from the window. The host can give you some information on the best spots on the map of Bari and the tips where to go for sightseeing nearby the city. It was a good idea to pick out this apartment which occurred to me more than I expected. Really recommendable.

location in the old town was exceptional, being built into the old walls with great thought to clean modern comfort. a shot walk to the port and to the designer shops, restaurants etc The old town in beautiful. i would love to come back to Bari and if I did I would stay at this hotel again. the roof terrace also a bonus, and staff very helpful. we left our luggage for the day before getting the ferry. and again used the roof terrace to relax even though we had checked out.

We had a large apartment with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms with a terrace and a beautiful view on the beach and the city.
The location is perfect - beach was only few minutes away by walking. Shops and buses were also very close.
Our homelady was very kind and helpful. She gave us many great recommendations for Bari and for traveling to Alberobello. She also drove us to the Airport. We give her 100 points for the sporty driving! 😂

One of the best accommodation I have booked. The staff were very polite and helpful, the room was cleaned every day, the breakfast was very tasty and you can choose from many types of food. Also, you can leave your luggage for free. So close to Bari Centrale and city centre, next to the hotel there is the bus station. I will choose again this hotel.

The location of the hotel is within walking distance of the station and all the shops, restaurants and old town of Bari. It is a good 2* hotel, functional although quite dated, especially the bathroom. Everything worked fine though. The street is very busy during the day but very quiet at night.
