United StatesOwner was amazing. My son stayed there a night before a flight. He had to leave by 6:30am to get to the airport and taxis don’t start running until 8am. The owner drove him to the airport so he wouldn’t miss his flight . Doesn’t get any better than that.

United StatesMy recent stay at Lo spedalicchio a beautiful castle-turned-hotel, was nothing short of magical. The grandeur of the castle's architecture is matched only by the warmth and professionalism of the staff, particularly Susanne.
Susanne was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. From her genuine beautiful smile to her extensive knowledge of the hotel’s history, she made me feel like a treasured guest from the moment I arrived.
The castle itself is a masterpiece, blending historic charm with modern comforts. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, providing a peaceful retreat. The dining experience was also exceptional, with a menu that highlights the finest local ingredients.breakfast was excellent
In summary, my stay at Lo spedalicchio was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by Susanne’s outstanding service. If you’re looking for a unique and luxurious getaway, this castle hotel is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

ChinaFirst the location, not too far from the highway and not too close so there was almost no noise while being so convenient for a road trip traveller.
The room was clean and comfortable. It was one of a few hotel I stayed in Italy that had an AC which was willing to provide heating in June.
The best value for money so far. Highly recommend if you’re on a road trip and want a place to stay on the road.

United StatesThis is a charming beautiful spot in the heart of the countryside - very easy to get to and in a calm and quiet nook of land right before you reach Assisi. The place feels like family, the staff are lovely and kind. THE RESTAURANT IS AMAZING (I miss the gnocco already!) The breakfast in the morning is delicious and set up so beautifully. If you are driving this place is great because you are essentially parking at a functioning vineyard, lots of space. This place has an open air, casual and special vibe.
