It’s a lovely little village, perfect for a few nights stay. We travelled to Valencia, but it paled in comparison! Bellagio is definitely the place to be. Lots of places to eat and cute shops. We stayed in Florence hotel and it was perfect!

Been going for years. Will not return.
Been going for years. Will not return. All the Italian culture is gone. Now just tourists, souvenir shops and touristy restaurants.
It now looks and feels like the Italian pavilion at Disney World.
So very sad.
Stay in a much smaller Italian town for a real experience.

Beautiful town, definitely worth a visit.
Beautiful town, definitely worth a visit. So much to see and do, very relaxed and enjoyable stay. Its very easy to get around the town, definitely need a car though if you want to do more than come in and out of town but parking very restricted, buses are not great, not on time or frequent.

Bellagio was the perfect spot to stay on the Lake, in my opinion. Centrally located to all the hot spot destinations, with lots of restaurant and shopping options. Other towns were quite small, with few options for food, etc.

Bellagio is just so nice. The jewel in the crown. Busy during the day but better in the evening. Saying that, you can still get around. It’s charming, clean and plenty of shops restaurants. Great location to hop on the ferry to explore. Definitely the best place in our opinion but the area is stunning anyway. Ciao ciao.

Bellagio is the most beautiful town on Lake Como!
Bellagio is the most beautiful town on Lake Como! Many great restaurants and shopping. Great views of the lake. Ferry terminal that provides easy access to Ferry system.
Now, having said that, the town is relatively small, so 2-3 days in Bellagio would be enough to explore just this town. If you are planning on exlporing the other towns on the Lake ( which you absolutely sbould do) Bellagio is a great "center" for that activity and then you should extend to 4-5 days.
Best restaurants we visited, Gioia in the Hotel Du Lac..Suisse right on the main plaza, the restuarant in the Grand Hotel Belloni right in town ( check spelling) and Punta, with view of the lake.

The ferry stop is a 1 minute walk to the hotel. Our lake view room was spectacular, french doors opened onto a terrace where we sat of an evening, watching the sunset, whilst enjoying an aperitif.
The staff also went above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable stay, offering suggestions for day trips and local sights and other restaurants. Dining at the hotel restaurant was such a treat. The view of lake Como was picture postcard material and the menu unsurpassable. I would definitely recommend this hotel accommodation.

Without doubt the best place I have stayed in Lake Como and even Italy. The photographs do not do the place justice. It is a life affirming experience, a few minutes from everything you could ever need. I can honestly say it changed the way I see the world. It made me a better man. Just. Go.

Right in the middle of Bellagio - you can look down on the town square from one of the many balconies the apartment has.
AMAZING lake Como views!
