CanadaWhat a gorgeous hotel! The staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and our room had a giant, wrap around terrance with the most stunning views of the mountains! I only wish there had been some lounging furniture on the terrance as I could have stayed out there all evening watching the sunset. The pool area was serene and relaxing and an added bonus were the animals in the pens nearby that my children loved interacting with. Donkeys and horses roaming free on the property was so nice to see too. We had dinner one evening and enjoyed a spread of delicious cheeses made on site, as well as many other great dishes. Overall our stay was a 10/10 and I hope to return one day. What a magical place!

Breakfast, as is the Italian way, is full of cakes and buns to nibble on with a cappuccino or a tiny ristretto from the coffee bar, but there was also fresh fruit, orange juice, mineral water, milk, serials, a cheese and meat platter and even a hard-boiled egg. The selection was not huge, but it was enough to avoid having to eat the same thing every day. The hotel is an 18-minute walk from the train station, close to many dining options and nearby shopping, and 24 minutes' on foot to the University of Calabria.
