The breakfast spread was excellent - freshly baked cake every day, croissants, fruit, breads, cheeses, meats, cereals and coffee from a machine. The afternoon apperitivos are very reasonably priced with good snacks. The room was very clean and smelled great. I was in a small double room facing the railway which could be very loud but closing the window blocked out all of the noise. Great location - walking distance to both the Lavagna and Chiavari train stations, the ocean right outside and lots of restaurants nearby. Safe location for a solo female. Highly recommend staying here.

Lavagna is much quieter compared to the nearby towns of Cinque Terre and also felt much more off the beaten track than La Spezia for example. This was exactly what we were looking for, because although it's not a tourist hot spot we were never short of places to go for a coffee or a meal. Everyone was very gracious with my limited Italian. The beachfront is gorgeous and there is a lot of free beach vs further south. With a local market and shops, we could easily have spent our whole holiday in Lavagna. I can't wait to return for hopefully a much longer stay. Just a beautiful town with lovely people.

There are so many places to eat!
There are so many places to eat! The food is excellent pretty much everywhere. The focaccia si to die for and so is the farinata! When visiting Lavagna you can forget about the car and if you wish to visit 5 terre the train is very convenient! Smoking should be banned in all beaches, though!

Clean air. Very calm city. Most importantly, you can visit other places while staying in Lavagna, by train or by boat.
the food is excellent. Very friendly waiters and owner of the restaurant. You can walk to the beach in 7 minutes, to the train station in 10 minutes and to the city center in 10 minutes.I have never had a headache and never had allergies.

Our stay at the Blue Hotel was nothing short of perfect. From the smooth check-in process to the clean and spacious room, everything was exceptional. The breakfast offered was delicious, adding to the pleasant experience. What stood out the most was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, making my stay truly unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and we highly recommend this hotel.

We were welcomed by owners. They were very kind. After a long day journey they offered us coffee and water. Then we headed to room, which was very comfy and beautiful. The breakfast we had was very nice. We enjoyed our little stay and for sure will be coming back to this beautiful hotel. 😍 Also the beds were so comfortable we didnt wanted to leave. Thank you.
