CanadaWe recently stayed at Palazzo Zimara to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond at every step to make our stay special.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a handwritten note from the staff—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The room quality was spectacular, blending luxury and comfort seamlessly. Staying in a palazzo built in 1557 was a unique experience; the renovations beautifully preserved its historical charm while adding modern, high-end touches.
Breakfast in the courtyard was a highlight, with delicious and fresh offerings that made each morning delightful. The staff were consistently attentive and friendly, making us feel truly valued as guests.
The entire staff was outstanding, not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable. They kept us informed and offered excellent suggestions on where to go and what to do in and around the city. They even went the extra mile by providing tips for the next city we were staying in, making our travels even more enjoyable.
If you’re considering booking at Palazzo Zimara, don’t hesitate—this place is a gem, perfect for special occasions or simply indulging in a luxurious getaway. Highly recommended!

A beautiful city to visit! The cathedral and crypt are well worth visiting as are the other baroque churches. A special find was the Faggiano museum! The ‘discovering Lecce’ tour with Lorenzo De Robertis was excellent!

Historic city with many attractions, including huge castle, arches, and several museums including Roman remains, and mediaeval buildings. Although large old city is only suitable for walking around, too many cars and motor cycles are allowed on the narrow streets and in the alleys, even if some restrictions apply. Plenty of restaurants too, and you can eat very well here. Excellent local bus services, to and from railway station and surrounding villages, except they are almost non-existent on Sundays!

A historical town with many sites all within easy walking distance. Despite its many visitors the town is exceptionally clean.
Just be aware that in October some of its regional trains, for day excursion, are limited.

We could drive different part of Puglia from Lecce in max one hour /Arberobello/ Ostuni / Polignano De Mare for day trip . These are small , historical and beautiful places to visit . We had dinner at Ristorante Cantina Don Carlo near our hotel . Highly recommended this restaurant.

What a nice city.
What a nice city. Loads of beautiful baroque architecture, great quality shopping, lots of excellent restaurants to choose from. Many artisanal shops of local artists. Felt very safe and was clean. Very walkable around the Centro historico. Would definitely recommend a few days here.

Hotel was conveniently located, a short walk from the walls of the old town (Cafe Astoria by Porto San Biagio is excellent, friendly and very good value for breakfast). There is a lot of free parking round the hotel but it is a busy area however Rosario was helpful with parking and held a space for us so we could park nearby. Our room was very clean but small and had no window so a bit claustrophobic. The photos on the website are deceptive and give the impression of a much larger space than it actually is, 5 rooms round one courtyard.

We have had a perfect few days in the very south of Italy, and Lecce could not have been a better choice for our last two nights. What made it particularly special was our accommodation in B&B Sambiasi; it is right in the historical centre but incredibly peaceful and quiet. The hosts, Francesca and her husband, were kind, welcoming and accommodating and the space itself was nothing short of spectacular. Very highly recommended - we would definitely stay again.

A beautifully, architecturally designed hotel with attention to detail in the historic centre of Lecce. Artwork around the hotel was a feature to admire! Staff were welcoming and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was in abundance and
catered well for a gluten free option. There is also a lift which is a help! A small boutique hotel full of old charm with modern facilities.

The room is comfortable and has everything you need. The location is perfect, just few minutes away from the city center and the train station. Great hosts, easy and quick communication. Breakfast was amazing, we traveled throughout Italy and this was by far the best experience :) Would definitely stay here again if in Lecce!

This is a very well located hotel in Lecce. It is a very short walk into the centre of the old town. It has a huge garden which is very special and tranquil in the middle of the city. The breakfast is simple but nice and you can have it outside your room which is very pleasant.
