What I liked most were the hospitality and generosity of the father/daughter hosts. They were supremo! Outstanding! Wunderbar! We also enjoyed the Norman castle which was very close. The views from the hotel (including Etna) were just fantastic (we booked sea-view). The location was great for ius as it was a short walk to lots of interesting places for us, and the staff were really friendly ( a bit more english would have been helpful but wasn't necessary)

Milazzo is a beautiful coastal city rich in history, culture and architecture. I was there for just two days as the purpose of us staying there was our sail to the Isole Eolie, but I did notice the city offers excellent shopping and all types of dining and nightlife. And the day and nighttime views of the Aeolian sea and mainland Sicily were gorgeous. As Italian/American tourists, I was delighted how friendly the locals were to us on the street and in the stores/restaurants. Be prepared to pay for parking wherever you go though day and night. I would certainly visit this city again.Vince

The property is excellently managed. The furnishings are stylish, handsome and comfortable. Great Linens. Breakfast had more choices than I have seen in Sicily. But best our host Gloria. She is on top of everything. I made a mistake about my train arrival and she caught it and called back. Great value and really a top notch treat.

The location right by the port makes it a perfect spot for island hopping in the Aeolian Islands, and it's only a 10-minute walk to the beach. It has a large closet and also a refrigerator, there is a coffee machine in the hallway. The location is close to the train station, 15 minutes on foot (the road has no sidewalks, so it can be a bit inconvenient) and 25 minutes to the port of Milazzo to head to the Aeolian Islands. The owner is kind and friendly.

There is a parking garage opposite of the street where you can park your car for 15€ a day. The harbor is close by, so you can easily do a day trip to the Aeolian Islands.
