BelgiumThis is a new Hotel. Everything was clean, modern and comfortable. Barely a 5 minute walk to the sea front. The staff were amazing and always ready to help, including to find us a place in a beach lido. One important thing: take the hotel’s advice and ask them to book for you in advance a good place in a beach lido, as otherwise you risk not finding a place at all. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in ages at a hotel. It’s a la carte and serving some very authentic Sicilian food.

Seriously amazing hotel at the end of the road. Staff are typically Italian - so don't be expecting the service with a smile. Our waiter for lunchtime was super grouchy - I think it just added to the whole fab Italian experience. Short walk into main town for shopping, restaurants and bars. We stayed around the hotel and just had the best time ever sunbathing, sea swimming and pool swimming and making use of the pool bar! Awesome place to stay.

The room was clean, bright, and comfortable. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive throughout the stay. A special thank you to Alessio for his warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism. Always smiling and helpful, he truly made our experience even more memorable. The pool and outdoor areas are also very well maintained. A little haven of peace just a short distance from Mondello. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We were there at the end of September so whilst most things were open, it wasn't too crowded. The weather was brilliant: 25 degrees during the day and although we had some rain, it wasn't cold and blue skies quickly followed.
There are plenty of restaurants in Mondello and the beach is sandy and clean.
We were a short bus ride (only a pound) from Palermo and within easy distance of other villages and attractions.

A roomy and well-equipped villa with all the facilities you need, including WiFi, a kitchen, washing machine, air-con, There were also parasols and folding chairs, and beach towels. The beach was only 10 mins stroll away and this is where we spent most of our time due to semi-aquatic grandchildren!. Riccardo, who looks after the villa, was a really helpful and attentive host.
Mondello has plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance - the ones we liked were Raphael, Nico, Le Rocce and Sariddu. The owner of Sariddu claimed to be a Liverpool supporter (like one of our number), but I suspect this depended on who he was talking to!
Things to see - the Duomo in Monreale. You can park just south of it, and it is jaw-droppingly amazing. Asis the Chiesa del Gesu in Palermo. We went to the BioPark Sicilia as well - great for children and most adults.

We went into town in the evenings for food. There are lots of choices. The restaurants were very touristy but still good. HUGE portions in most of them. Forget about finishing both a primo and a secundo.

A laid back easy going beach resort with BB Design very close to the beachfront and restaurants. Clean comfortable well maintained premises. A very accessible,engaged, knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Very beautiful beach BUT 90% is occupied by umbrellas and beds to rent at 30€ per day for 2 persons....!!!
There are beautiful houses to see but is only that.. there's gardage everywhere!! Honestly , ill never return to mondelo!! You can go for 1 or 2 days and you'll understand what im saying. But no more than that!! Dont spend your money there!! (go to cefalu, is very clean, beautiful and the beach is also very good and you have a lots of restaurants and shops)

Very service mindet owner. Edi picked us up in Mondello when the bus did a wrong turn and didn’t follow the original route. The apartment had everything we needed and even more as 2 small electric scooters were available for use. That made it really easy to explore and go to the beaches and around. On our last day Edi even offered to drive us to the bus station but ended driving us right to our new hotel. We highly recommend Mondello’s pearl. A true hidden gem.

The apartment is excellent! The location is perfect — close to the beach and the city promenade, so there’s no need to use a car. The host, Salvo, was amazing. He recommended restaurants in Mondello, and his suggestions were absolutely great. Parking is usually available on the street. Just a small tip: try not to come with a large car, as the streets in the area are quite narrow. Highly recommended!

Beautiful villa on a private residential area of Mondello, super safe to leave the car, offers a private parking in front of the house. The hosts are super friendly and elastic with check-in/check-out times, we even got a free room update :) We loved the surrounding, locasion near the beach and easy drive to Palermo (bus 806). The breakfast was also very fresh and tasty with some salty options too :)

Simple adequate hotel at a reasonable price.
Easy to 'commute' to Palermo centre by parking up at the nearby railway station with a 20 mins ride into the centre.
