The hotel in a great location allowing to explore Montepulciano and other towns in the Val d'Ocia, as well as the whole east-southern Tuscany. The staff was very friendly and professional. Many recommendations for local attractions, restaurants and wineries. Hotel is very comfortable, well maintained, room and bathroom very clean. Tasty breakfasts and easy parking. Recommended.

RussiaA great hotel! Despite minor shortcomings, it can't be given less than 10 points. A very kind owner waited for me and checked me in, explained where it was most convenient to park. The breakfast from the restaurant a la carte deserves special admiration, as well as a small buffet with drinks. I asked for a glass of prosecco and they brought it to me for free. The view from the window is excellent on the cathedral square. I have already sent a link to this hotel to all my friends.

PolandWe spent 5 days in Albergo Posta Marcucci. It was fantastic time especially because of very kind and helpful staff. Starting from check-in until check-out we fill like in between good friends. The rooms are comfortable, and everything was as it should be. The pools are really very warm, and we feel relaxing in the bath and at the couches. The restaurant has excellent food as well at the breakfast and the dinner. I strongly recommend this Hotel not only to spend a time at the pool but also to make a short trips across Tuscany countryside, visiting nice towns nearby. Many thanks to the Hotel Manager for his help in time organisation.

GermanySuper cute hotel!! The owner is very very friendly and sweet. We needed gluten-free bread for the breakfast and he served muffins, cookies and bread handmade. Also the breakfast was just amazing, hand-made vegan croissants and so many special things! The hotel is close to Montepulciano and quiet, with a big parking lot. Highly recommend!!

Monticchiello is a great hill top village to stay overnight...
Monticchiello is a great hill top village to stay overnight when travelling through Tuscany. Beautifully quiet in the evening but with a number of restaurants to choose from to suit all tastes. We ate at Osteria Fra Paolino which was exceptional and proved to be the best meal of the 2 weeks we spent travelling from Rome through Tuscany to Florence.

It's a small citadel village in Tuscany with a lot of character. It's best to brush up on Italian language skills before going as you can't fully get away with just English. It has a great circular walk around the fortress walls that leads into the inner part where houses and restaurants come with great stories and are inhabited by great people. The evenings are lively with tasteful music playing in the background and many patrons enjoy a good drink and some well executed food.

Francesco is a lovely host at la casa di Adelina. He immediately made us feel right at home as he showed us around the shared spaces and our private space. He also shared the fascinating history of his family and the "casa." He is a wonderful baker and prepared beautiful, delicious breakfasts each morning. He answered every question we had about the town, allowing us to explore with confidence. He made excellent recommendations. I would HIGHLY recommend a visit to charming and friendly Monticchiello and to la casa di Adelina. We hope to retun.

Monticchiello is a lovely small town in the heart of Val d'Orcia. We stayed here several days and traveled by car to other places in Toscana. There are a few good restaurants in the town and the most breathtaking view on Toscana hills.

A beautiful mountain top Tuscan hamlet. We walked around the walls and tiny streets. We ate at Dario’s where we had a delicious lunch of suckling pig. We attended a wedding at the church which was an amazing experience.

L'Olmo was incredible. The grounds were beautiful, with an immaculate pool, common areas, and views of the surrounding hills. The room was fantastic: large, clean, with lovely finishings. The real standout was the staff - they were unbelievably kind and helpful. They truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was exceptional. We cannot recommend L'Olmo enough; it is a gem in the Tuscan countryside. We can't wait to go back!

Everything about this stay was wonderful. Adeline is the perfect host. Montichellio is a lovely little village, close enough to a few of the other larger towns. The property offers great views in every direction. We would come back here for sure!
