Warm welcome, self-service coffee machine in the building, good breakfast nearby (note that the breakfast is not european) but when you are in Italy you know that breakfast is always sweet :) The cleanliness and size of the apartment are above all expectations, better than in the pictures. The room was clean and maintained daily throughout our stay. Breakfast was good with many options, though it mainly consisted of sweet choices. Undulating beside the Bay of Naples, this UNESCO World Heritage city is a maze of narrow streets and cable cars. Although it has an incredible array of churches and monuments, it’s the sheer energy, pulsating life, and buzz of Vespas that really make it exciting.
At first you could mistake this for chaos, but given time you’ll see there’s method to the madness. The stunning, curved portico of the Royal Palace. The perfectly thin pizzas which originated here. The red pepper trinkets to ward off the evil eye adorning practically every old town doorway. All are crafted to perfection.
While all this goes on at street level, below is Underground Naples – a series of tunnels you can visit and even a Graeco-Roman theater which you stop at before emerging into someone’s house!
Head up to the Posillipo area for stunning views of the city and Vesuvius in the distance. The volcano itself can be visited and looking down from it towards Pompeii and Herculaneum gives context to the thousands of artifacts now on display in the city’s National Archaeological Museum.

Easy to get around: walk, hop on hop off buses, taxis, train station and port with ferries and boats to go to other cities and tour. Good seafood. I enjoyed the mussels, clams, octopus and crumbed squid. Pizza originated from Naples but not to my liking - too thin. Pasta is good. Must try the pastries and limoncello products. Beautiful churches, castles, ports and monuments. Visit the museums especially the National archeology museum. The Church of New Jesus is spectacular (architecture, statues, carvings, paintings). The spanish quarters has murals and statues of Diego Maradona - a must see for soccer fans. Take a ferry to Capri and a boat ride along the coast. Visit Pompei - major tourist attraction. People must understand that Naples is not modern western cities. It’s very old and has much history behind it beautiful areas, for example historic district, Spanish quarters and much much more to see and do great shopping lots of stores and restaurants great nightlife. Teo Toledo BNB is fantastic in the heart of the Spanish quarters, and all the action, and historic District The room which we rented was very comfortable and had everything and plus that we needed Diego and staff are very friendly and very personal.
