A wonderful place to spend your holidays if you love trekking. The accommodation is located at the crossroads of Austria, Slovenia, and Italy, offering plenty of opportunities to enjoy the mountains. The staff was extremely kind and courteous. Dinner was absolutely delicious.

The breakfast was outstanding, offering a variety of fresh and freshly cooked food. The location was what we expected in the north of Friulii- a quiet town with wineries and some restaurants. It might not be right for someone who wants to be near major attractions. The wine in the area is outstanding - as are the views of the lower Alps

We stayed for 4 nights, and we enjoyed every one of them. There is a beautiful view of the vineyards around the property, and lots of great local wineries to visit very close by. Laura, was a great host, and gave us lots of recommendations for places to see, and restaurants to try around the area. Breakfast was great every morning, and the room was very clean and comfortable during our stay. We did day trips around the area, and it is very easy to get around, and the sea is about a 1 hour drive away from the accommodation. Laura booked a wine tasting for us at a local winery about 5 mins walking from accommodation, and we got to try wonderful local wines and learn about the history of the area. Definitely recommend staying here!
