There isn't that much to see and so two or three days is all you need. The roads are vertiginous . Make sure you have heard of the film IL POSTINO. Loads of good restaurants but you have to like fish and seafood. Meat is virtually non existent.

Procida just keeps amazing us with its diversity and beauty.
Procida just keeps amazing us with its diversity and beauty. In the few days we have been here we have walked the length and breadth of the island, circumnavigated on a small boat captained by Captain Luigi, who was a retired Cruise ship Captain and now conducts sunset cruises around the island, including drinks, snacks and commentary.
We sampled the beach (black sand, pebbles and nothing compared to any Australian Beach), saw where the Procida Film Festival was being run, came across bananas growing in someone's garden and dined on the waterfront at various restaurants

Depending on the time of year Procida is a little haven with unique, picture book views … very unspoilt and not overdeveloped!!! However, there are a lot of steps to climb up from the little port and to some of the beaches so go prepared!! All in all, having eaten out at most of the restaurants, we had delicious, fresh fish and no disappointing meals … staff were very friendly and the service was good. Finally, the best time to go here would be early or late summer … far more restful and relaxing 😎

It's a beautiful island. Quiet. Small. Lovely views, restaurants and people. You DO need to be able to walk and climb lots of steps. There are eBikes for hire, scooters and cars, but the streets are tiny and best walked.
A great place to unwind.
You can also hire boats or book boat trips. Great for sailing.

Procida is a hidden gem in the gulf of Naples. It has amazing beaches and restaurants. You can walk around this small beautiful city and the small streets with boutiques, ice cream and amazing food, especially fish.

It's delightful, like stepping back in time, not yet totally overrun by tourism, the main port is the only real tourist area ( many day trippers only see this) The lack of shops everywhere would hopefully put off a lot of people likewise the very steep narrow streets and the narrow black beaches with no Lido facilities to speak of.

We had a great time in this lovely appartment. The location was fantastic for exploring Procida. Restaurants, food stores, beaches, harbour, everything within the walking distance. The apartment was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. With the extra bed in the main room we slept very comfortably (2 adults and 2 daughters age 18 and 16). The best of all was the host, Paolo. He answers within minutes and makes sure we had everything we needed. The great bonus was a lift to the harbour on the departure. He is super nice.

The property was super clean and the staff was very co-operative. Also I would like to highlight the old young man who was on the reception in the night was very amazing. I liked him very much, my health was very bad and he also helped me. Also the breakfast was super amazing, however my suggestion is to please add some vegetable sandwiches. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone and they arranged a perfect room for me. According to procida, €154 for a room is not very high with these amenities

Location, over one of the main Procida square, crossing spot of the main bus lines taking to amazing beaches Chiaiolella and Postman's beach (spiaggia del postino).
Breakfast was a pleasure, croissant milk coffee, yogurt. No savoury breakfast, but I didn't want it though.
Just some steps (or better to say stairs) away marina Di Corricella, place of restaurants.

Incredible location, well equipped room ,very clean. Giulio, the owner, was verry nice and helpfull. The apartment is in the best part of Procida island, in the middle of the beauty.
