Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We asked for an extra duvet as the one supplied was too small for us. We immediately got it. Location was superb. Views for a central city hotel were outstanding.

I enjoyed everything about this hotel. I got an upgraded room, it was very clean and comfortable. I liked the design of it too, many small details were thought through. The view was magnificent.     I was for the first time but I will return. Contrary of the stereotypes about Rome, it's cleaner, safer and quieter than I thought. And comparable with Germany the prices are much better. Many options to eat very good and with fair prices in restaurants. Respect that they continue the tradition (with last from Roman Empire) to assure high quality spring water for free for all people Full in history and beautiful places to visit Very good guides

    We have been many times, and three or four days is good. We have a filmed guide on our Doris Visits channel including the bus route which is a good way to learn if you are new to Rome. We do cover everything including an Angels and Demons self tour explanation.

    No, I would not recommend Rome to visit to anyone. you have to have a rerve of steel to be able to put with the hassles on the street from pickpocketers and the extortionate prices even for 2 cups of coffee which can cost you ten euros. The hotels demanding extortionate taxes for a one stay. If you use the Metro, you are targeted by thugs and criminals!!! the tickets you get on the subways don't work, when you tap your card, the doors do not open. You will be forced to tap again and again. one day, I tapped about 18 times to get through. the Metro system is not so clear, you often end up making mistakes! the Map is not on display in the platform where you are.

    It's a very safe place to walk and explore. There is a very high level (but low-key) police presence at all hours at all the popular locations. So long as you are pickpocket-aware (carry backpacks or wear them at the front, nothing loose in back pockets etc) you will have a great time exploring the city and enjoying all it has to offer.

    Our second trip to Rome so skipped the tourist attractions this time. Did go on a Hop On Hop Off bus which was good. Loved walking around Rome, went through the Pantheon as missed it last time, very impressive. The people are lovely too. Our last night we went to a restaurant IL CHIANTI less than 50 metres from our Hotel which was excellent.

    Remarkable city. Found rude and pleasant people every one warned us on thieves. But no problem for us. You must do your pre visit home work you can not do it in Rome. Most important purchase INTERNET AND WI-FI service for the time your there do not depend on your Phone carrier! if u think you can your silly. Many ways to see the city. We decided to walk and mingle with the crowds and local people worked great but saw 5-10% . If u want to see a lot pay the funds and go the Transit, the Hop on Hop off. Also can do rail, and tons of tour groups. Super important for Americans- they don’t like Dollars at side vendors n Taxi’s . Euros are easier for them.. Be Patient this is a tourist destination as busy a Disney World.

    Piccola Navona was our best stay in Italy. Impressively clean and the staff were amazing, it’s location a plus. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels in the past, many of them not too accommodating. Alberto, Juliet, and the rest of the staff at Piccola Navona has been an absolute star, from arranging our transportation from the airport, to ensuring we had the correct mattress and pillows for our comfort, and having our room cleaned with fresh towels daily. We will definitely stay here again at our next trip to Rome.
