PolandThere was nothing that we didn’t like. The place was so comfy, clean, quiet and what’s more, great located. The room was small but big enough to keep 4 people. The breakfast was good also, multiple choices. The staff was very helpful. They allowed us to leave our laguage afterparty check out.

IsraelWe had an amazing experience at Hotel Tirrenia in Sorrento. The location is perfect - just a short walk from the promenade, restaurants, and the beautiful viewpoints of the city.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. A special shout-out to Vincenzo at the front desk, who was exceptionally kind, professional, and made us feel truly taken care of.
The hotel also has a fantastic pizza bar, which became one of our favorite spots to relax after exploring the area.
Overall, everything was wonderful - great atmosphere, great service, and great value. We highly recommend Hotel Tirrenia and would definitely return!

Great base to explore the Amalfi coast and capri. Also good to take some time out and relax. I was there in off season, late November and quite a lot of shops and restaurants were closed. But being a bigger town it did not matter and was fine. So as an off season base this was great.

Sorrento is absolutely beautiful — a true gem on the Amalfi Coast! The views of the sea and Mount Vesuvius are breathtaking, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and every corner of the city feels full of charm. The food, the people, and the sunsets all make Sorrento an unforgettable place. I absolutely loved this city and can’t wait to return!

Sorrento is charming but very busy with tourists.
Sorrento is charming but very busy with tourists. So many restaurants and the food was good. We mostly ate fish as it was so fresh and cooked well.
Weather was warm in the day but quite a bit cooler at night (This was late September).
Sorrento is completely walkable with lots of narrow streets, many cobblestones, so wear suitable shoes like sneakers.
Booking a trip in a minivan down the Amalfi Coast is worth it. And Pompeii is just a short train ride away.

Sorrento is the perfect location to explore the Amalfi coast. It has trains buses and ferries to take you anywhere. Only minutes to Capri on the ferry. You can get to Positano and Amalfi by ferry or bus, or go one way and back the other like we did. The town has everything you need from supermarkets, markets, restaurants and fashion stores, and you can walk everywhere

Great base to visit the Amalfi coast and Capri without breaking the bank. Postcard pretty town. Plenty of boat tour and road tours to the Amalfi coast and to Capri. Plentiful restaurants and amazing views.

Sorrento is beautiful and a great walking city.
Sorrento is beautiful and a great walking city. Lots of fantastic food and great shops. Ferry easily assessible but be warned, take dramamine. The ride to Capri is not for the faint of heart. Pompei was absolutely amazing. Driving is also a challange and parking very expensive. Consider private driver.

This was the best stay in our Italy trip so far. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, we loved having bar service for cocktail hour on the patio and the rooftop terrace. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was really good. Excellent value for the money

Don't try hiking up the hill with your suitcases! Get some EAV or Sita bus tickets at the train station as the walk up the hill on cobblestones to the hotel is exhausting on a hot day.

Staff was great and so nice, the breakfast was the best I had in Italy (really great variety - from cheese to vegetables, amazing pastries and fresh juice). The restaurant in the hotel was really nice and was comfortable to have that option. Free parking space, transportation at your request to the city center and a great view of the ocean. Room was spacious and clean, Amazing stay!

Beautifully and tastefully decorated room. So much larger than most of the places we have stayed in Italy. Added bonus is the deck and large swimming pool.
Host was very helpful. 10 min walk into Sorrento and bus at end of road.
