Great bathroom and Amazing shower! My husband was very happy with the breakfast and I enjoyed the cappuccinos they make for you! There is also a machine if you prefer to get it yourself! Pistachio Croissants and Chocolate Croissants are delicious too!

The hotel staff was wonderful, room very clean. I loved having free access to a bike. The weather was a bit variable--or I would have taken advantage of the beach pass--right across the street.

There is very good bus service starting from Venice aeroport directly to Sottomarina.
And good bus service around in the area Padova. Piove di Saco etc..
Very nice clean beaches, not too expensive.
Good locations plenty of cheap hotels, good cheap shops, coffee shops, kebabs- pizza places to eat, affordable prices, good food. Really recommend👌

Sottomarina is a charming but a simple beach-village.
Sottomarina is a charming but a simple beach-village.
Chioggia feels like a poor-cousing of Venezia. Interesting, but not that special.
Worth visiting if you are in Veneto, but nothing special. Italy has far more interesting beaches in the southern regions.

Good place for relaxing on the beach, but on the other hand its location is excellent for a sight seeing in Chioggia and visiting nearby cities with a rich historical past like Padua, Ferrara, Vicenza, Ravenna....

I haven't reached to the 10 km long Sottomarina beach though...
I haven't reached to the 10 km long Sottomarina beach though, as yet, as I came to see this year's Venice Art Biennale which shows were evenly spread all over Venice city, in particular at the Aresenale and the Giardini places where the concentration of artist participants is bigger. Through this past week, I had to hurry myself everyday to reach there and return back to my hotel on time. Sottomarina is a seaside resort and a locale developed as a beach resort attracting visitors from nearby cities like Venice and Padua. Its city, Chioggia was the biggest salt mine in Europe once and is older than Venice. The area of my hotel is quite remarkable as it fulfills itself with modernist residential architecture. Besides, it's environ has an interesting mix of vegetation; breathtaking trees and foliages that make the air pristine, enriching the Adriatic ecosystem.

Our stay in Sottomarina was great.
Our stay in Sottomarina was great. Easy walking distance to Chioggia town, but with a less touristy atmosphere that we enjoyed. During our stay in October, the beach was quiet and just a very short walk from the apartment. Breakfast was pastry and coffee at a local bakery about 2 blocks from the apartment. Our hostess provided lots of good local information whenever we inquired.

Great little apartment in the old, quiet part of Sottomarina. Functional, well equipped, seems recently renovated (nothing is outdated). Lovely small terrace outside and superb location. 5 min walk to the beach, 10 min walk to Chioggia. Parking is app. 5 min away. Thanks to Ciandra for hospitality and tips for excursions and restaurants:)

The hotel did not allow me to park my car in the hotel parking lot even though I had booked my hotel two months in advance. I had to park my car 400 meters away from my accommodation. At a higher cost than I had anticipated for my hotel. And the difficulty of commuting by car.

Nice staff. They always explain everything. Possibility of parking in the neighborhood through the hotel. The possibility of purchasing parasols and sunbeds on the beach through the hotel. Great breakfast. I definitely recommend.
