United StatesThis is a brand new hotel housed in a renovated building. No detail was left wanting. It is well thought-out and contains everything a traveler might want especially a huge wall-to-wall shower with rain head and hand-held hose. Clean, neat, and plenty of hot water. The rooms are tastefully decorated with high end items. A small refrigerator and electric kettle are in the room. The bed is very comfortable and there are plenty of outlet for chargers or other electrical items. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They communicated to us and even let us know that our room was ready several hours before official check-in which gave us more time to explore the surroundings. The location is excellent, only a short distance from the center of the old town where there’s lots of activity and the harbor. The location, in our opinion, was perfect. A true hidden gem, which I think will become a major player once people become aware of it.

You can walk straight from the really nice sun-lounge area (which has plenty of sun-beds and a great view) onto the beach for a sea swim in beautiful clear waters. The decor is stylish and laid back. The swimming pool is a decent size, and the bar and dining areas are really nice. The rooms were a decent size with great views - this was even the case for the basic room which wasn't advertised as having a sea view, but did in fact have one. I'd probably try and get a room with a balcony next time, but the lack of balcony didn't matter as we were outside so much. It's a 20-30min walk into the historic centre and port of Trapani - we generally took our car (for evening meals, for sightseeing, for a day trip to Favignana) as it's easy and cheap to park in Trapani and parking at the hotel is easy. If you didn't have a car and didn't want to walk, I think you'd have to use a taxi in the late evening as the buses stop at around 8pm.
Overall we were all really happy with this hotel - it was even nicer than we expected.

Kite-shaped Trapani makes an impressive sight from lofty Mount Erice, connected to the peninsula below by cable car. On a clear day, the mountain also offers views of Tunisia - one destination of ferries from Trapani Port, alongside Cagliari, Pantelleria and the offshore Egadi Islands.
Overlooking the port is the old town, where arched doorways on narrow streets open onto many cheap apartments and B&Bs on Booking.com. Shabby chic façades sit alongside historic churches, such as understated Trapani Cathedral, somewhat lost amid elegant Corso Vittorio Emanuele, where pavement cafes sit in front of pastel-coloured buildings and metal balconies.
At the tip of the peninsula is the fortress-like Tower of Ligny lighthouse, now housing the Prehistory and Sea Museum. The Colombaia Castle protects the port from an island to the south, while in the other direction the sweeping coastline passes some beachfront hotels with swimming pools.
Villa Margherita Park offers shade from the Mediterranean sun, and Triton’s Fountain graces a neighbouring square. The simple façade of the Basilica of Maria Santissima Annunziata hides the treasures within, including a statue of the Madonna of Trapani which is at the heart of the Easter ‘Misteri’ celebrations.
Between the city and Trapani-Birgi Airport, historic windmills sit beside salt pans. The Salt Museum provides details of this major industry.

Trapani centre and old town was beautiful. We walked everywhere with ease. We used it as a base for day trips to Favignana and Erice. Felt very safe walking around at night. Beautiful views from the old town of the bay and Erice at night.

We liked Trapani a lot - it was a loose, laid back town with excellent food and friendly people. It was lively but not hectic, it had an active feel but not frantic. There were some tourists, but the town had the feeling of not relying too much on them, and of having a life and identity of its own.

Trapani was a bit of a disappointment.
Trapani was a bit of a disappointment. Especially if you're trying to compare it to Noto, Ragusa, and Modica, for example. That comparison isn't really possible/shouldn't be made. If you're coming from Agrigento, continue on to Castellammare del Golfo. And on the way there, be sure to visit Erice. It's truly beautiful little place on a mountain. And the views are stunning, too.

Everything was much more than we expected.
Everything was much more than we expected. Great food stunning architecture in daylight or at night time and the vibe in the streets of Trapani on our first evening was breathtaking, eating can be had for any budget.

Trapani is a small city which deserves exploring and getting...
Trapani is a small city which deserves exploring and getting to know. Lots of hidden gems and beautiful sights. The Museum of Optical Illusions is great. Trapani is a good base for exploring the area by car or public transport. Our half day trip to Erice was wonderful; another day on a boat excursion to the Egadi Islands truly memorable.

Great base for day trips (to Erice/Egadi Islands/even Marsala), but the city itself is worth visiting! A very walkable location, especially from where we stayed [SAT Appartamenti Locazioni turistiche brevi-G&P]. We were told to try Busiate so we did in so many different styles haha. We ate these seasoned fried chick pea patties that looked like fried halloumi or tofu that had we not spoken to our hosts we would not have known what we were eating! I left this too late and can't recall everything... Spectacular views as per for Sicily. We happened to be there for the opening of "Radio Mare" this cute cafe that becomes a hi-fi listening bar in the eveniing... super vibey, defo check it out. Every shop and restaurant we stumbled in was worth visiting. It was a lively city that was a good blend of tourist and locals!

If you were on a vacation where everything was so perfect that you don’t want to go home, this one was it. In one word: AMAZING. Very nice and clean apartment decorated in Sicily style in perfect location. Near historic centre, near beautiful public beaches and also walking distance to the port. Owner was incredibly friendly and helpful in everything. He also owns a authentic Sicilian restaurant with great Food right under the apartment. I recommend it to everybody. We will definitely come back 👌

The greatest accomodation through our trip in Sicily. :)
we got our keys from owners - they told us everything we needed to know. Flat was looking really nice and new, we even used washing machine - which was huge plus! :)
The location is really great, lot of parking spots near by and close to the old centre.

The apartment was very clean and cozy and has an excellent location, close to the beach , local monuments, restaurants, port and bus stops which is handy if you want to explore more of sicily. The host was helpful when checking in and even offered an optional cleaning/ laundry service.

We enjoyed our stay in Trapani so much! Apartment was pretty big and clean, our host was very helpful with everything we needed. Apartment also had big terrace to sit on in the summer evenings. I can surely recommend this apartment and I'm looking forward to come back to Sicily!
