United StatesHotel Raito was proved an excellent choice for our vacation. Views from the hotel were breathtaking, absolutely incredible. Our hotel room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfasts were very good and the amount ample to start a day of explorations. Lunch and dinner service was also superior. Preparation was excellent. Strongly recommend! I especially appreciate the kind and professional service of Restaurant Manager Sansone Giovanni, as well as Marco.
To make your stay perfect in every way you must include a visit to the hotel’s SPA. SPA Manager Dominga has created an incredible, relaxing environment to make every guest feel special. From a wide range of massages, choices of organic teas, to the incredible lounge Sea views. Once again, thank you Dominga for making our SPA experience perfect in every way!
Finally, as a world traveler, I strongly recommend Hotel Raito and definitely will come back.

The view was superb, and forewent our usual bedtime routine, and had the balcony door open so we could fall asleep to the waves right below our room. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The menu items we tried for lunch and dinner were also very good.

CanadaEverything about this property was amazing! We loved Vietri! The apartment had an elevator, which was appreciated as we had two suitcases. The bedroom was clean, spacious and incredibly welcoming, as were the hosts. This is a family owned and run B&B, which we loved. Vincenzo, our host, made us delicious cappuccino every morning, brought in fresh Italian pasties, and had time to chat with us and give us advice on where to eat. Thank you Vincenzo! Grazie! The views from our bedroom and the breakfast room were spectacular! It was obvious that a great deal of care was taken to meet our needs as tourists. Complimentary coffee or tea available, along with snacks, juice and water, were always available in the breakfast room. This was so appreciated after a tiring day! Also, the washroom was spacious, clean and well thought out. Grazie to the whole family!

We think Vietri is the best place to stay on the Amalfi coast. It is easy to reach (most other towns are a pain to drive to), and is a great place to explore from, with Pompeii only 25 mins drive and Herculaneum around 35 minutes, all motorway. The town itself is very authentic and prices are reasonable compared to the better known places. The boat service to other Amalfi towns is regular and easy to use without being too expensive (€25 return to Amalfi for 2 people) - we enjoyed the boat trips as much as the towns which were generally heaving with tourists, I’d hate to think what high season is likeGuest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A charming village full of character, famed for its beautiful pottery, we particularly enjoyed its charming little shops filled with colour and variety. The location was conveniently close to Molina, the small village where we stayed. On our first day, we dined at a local restaurant that was excellent, with a variety of fish and meat dishes at reasonable prices. Theresa, Enzo and Antonia were wonderful! They met us upon arrival and explained everything in English. Our rooms were very clean and modern with exquisite views of the sea and town. The breakfast room was excellent, clean, comfortable with plenty of snacks and bottled water and juices. The location was perfect, close to town and we were able to access ferry boats to the rest of the towns on the Amalfi Coast and Capri right from the Vietri sul Mare port a short walk away. Restaurants, shopping and bars are abundant in Vietri and the people are very friendly and most speak English if your Italian isn't great. Access from Rome was easy via Tren-Italia. Vietri is a small, but lovely town; less commercialised than Amalfi or Positano for instance. It also has the benefit of a train station, which we used to visit Pompeii. Taxi's can be expensive, so this was a good way to travel at affordable prices. We used the ferry service a number of times to visit other Amalfi Coast destinations which was very good, albeit pretty crowded. This could be busier in June/July/August. Vietri sul Mare is a small village, since there is train station it is good as a base to explore Amalfi coast and Pompei. Not as busy as Amalfi itself or Positano. Old city is very small, but there is "Divine Vietri" pizzeria which serve the best pizzas in Amalfi coast, it opens at 19:00. Generally recommend it as a base for Amalfi coast, use ferry to move along or rent a scooter.
