The hotel is a small boutique hotel located by Kamogawa river, close to subway and Eizan railway. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and always willing to help. I have been to Kyoto many times but staying at Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa had definitely made this trip even more enjoyable and comfortable. The hotel provides different local sweets and snacks everyday in the room so it’s always a surprise what I come back and find. The amenities in the room is well equipped with superb quality. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re ever in Kyoto and wish to stay somewhere away from the busy downtown. Look forward to stay here again in the future. PS. Crosta deliver my luggage to the hotel since I arrived very early in the morning. Then it’s hassle free to wander around without dragging the luggage to the hotel before check-in time. Thanks again to all the team at Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa

Hotel was excellent value for money. No complaints. There was even an amusement space that I didn't know of that looks like an arcade where you pay 2000yen for the whole day but didn't have enough time to try it out. Looked pretty fun.

The room was large, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was huge. The location was perfect for our stay in Kyoto visit and the surroundings were beautiful and green. The check-in process was fast.
