It was a nice stop as I had been on a 5 day road-trip, and this was in between 2 locations for me, which made it convenient to stay at and rest. There is a Lawson across the street, as well as a ramen place. They have a great restaurant downstairs.

United KingdomAmazing location, wonderful atmosphere! Very clean and well prepared, we were left snacks and drinks by the host and felt so excited and welcome there. Amazing value for money too, would definitely recommend staying here! The walk into the centre of town is about half an hour because of the very steep hill leading down to the house which you have to walk up to get out, but it is not any reason not to stay here if that’s feasible for you.

This place was an unexpected surprise. From the get go, the service was absolutely amazing. The room was spacious, decent view, great air conditioning, plenty of outlets as well to charge devices, and they even brought up our luggage that we had delivered from Sapporo for us.
We were able to also book a private open air onsen as well with the option of sake. It was an amazing experience. We choose to have dinner from the hotel and it was amazing to. It did not disappoint.
This was my first Ryokan onsen experience and I loved it.

This was more like a resort than a hotel, with Onsen instead of pool. Such a beautiful spot and the staff were so kind, attentive and helpful. We are so grateful to them.

Fantastic location for a short stay right next to Ikaho stone steps. Being linked to another hotel with private onsen was also a nice surprise.
