The Location of the Place was really good. It was just 1 minute walk to the train station which was a big help especially having alot of luggage's. Also the thing i like is everything was informative and very fancy for a good price of the hotel.

FAQs about hotels in Tokyo

See It to Believe It!

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!

Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Center near the waterfront, and savor the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.

Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.

For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Outdoor markets sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.

Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.

Even tho we stayed for a weekend, it's too crowded, too many tourists and high prices for everything. We came from Osaka and the comparison is night and day, way too expensive, and it's lost all uniqueness. If you're a car guy you'll enjoy it more (really, going to car spots saved us from an even worse experience)

So much to see and do. I definitely needed more time there. We barely scratched the surface. Clean, friendly, easy to get around, bountiful tasty food! A bidet in every women’s bath room. I would eat more and wander more.

Tokyo is massive.

Tokyo is massive. For UK travellers, think of the City of London and its suburbs on steroids. Look at the sights you want to see and plan your hotel around the majority of them. We stayed at 3 and 4 star ones and they were all good. Small, but perfectly proportioned. We found that Airbnb's could be noisy, whereas hotels are usually soundproofed. Transportation is a breeze. Just remember the Line letter, colour or name and your station number. Look at the time of the train and the final destination of that train then the station that you want to go to. Some of the stations are massive, so you need to be careful about connection times and how long it will take you to get from one to the other, especially if you're dragging luggage. Get a digital IC card. If you're travelling from one far away destination to another, book your ticket online ahead of time and reserve your seats. It saves queueing, and gives you peace of mind that you'll have a seat especially if you're going at cherry blossom or fall colours time, when they're at their peak. All the shrines, temples, gardens etc., are fabulous. You won't be short of things to do. Google maps is great, although like most it sometimes has glitches, but for travelling on the subways, trains etc., it's brilliant. Restaurants and convenience stores are plentiful and most hotel rooms have fridges, so you can buy snacks/drinks etc., for the next day if necessary.

I was only there for one night.

I was only there for one night. I arrived in Tokyo at 11pm and have a long layover with my cat. I needed a hotel that I could stay with her. I quickly found out that in Japan "Pet friendly" really means dog friendly. I wrote to the hotel and they allowed my cat to stay with me. The room was a decent size with plenty of walking room and the v=basic amenities that were usually needed for an overnight stay. There was a cute balcony off the room that I stood on for a few minutes while waiting for my morning taxi. The area it was in seems to be a nice typical Japanese neighborhood. I was very pleased with the whole situation and would have liked to stay a few more day to explore.

The staff were very kind, caring and helpful. Communication was easy here. My husband and I caught the limousine bus from Haneda airport. A very convenient service. The hotel is also not far from Ikebukuro metro and JR. Stations, also the Hop on hop off bus. The choice of food was exceptional and serious attention paid to food safety. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable. There is a large window with lovely view and bonus small section to open to let in fresh breeze.

Rooms were large for Tokyo hotels and had a bathtub (we stayed in the South Wing), and housekeeping was good. It has two lines next to it including the less crowded Tochomae station on the Oedo line. Better than Shinjuku. There’s a decent Komeda’s cafe opposite the back entrance where we ate at twice and more eateries are about 5 minutes’ walk away. We liked that the limo bus stopped right at the hotel and that tour agencies picked up guests at the hotel too.

Great location just next to the Oedo train line. There’s a 711 just downstairs next through past the restaurant and spa. Room (triple) was spacious. Our flight was delayed and we rushed to meet the 12am check-in. The staff were still there when we got there at 12:10. Love that there is a real hotel entrance with a driveway as we rented a car and this made it easier to load luggage. Many hotels in Japan don’t have this and driving and parking is a challenge.

Has a homely feeling. Close to the train station which really helped after a long day out and about. Family Mart near the train station and a 7 Eleven just 5 minutes from the hotel. Shower was a dream and the washing machine and small kitchen came in very handy. Much, much quieter area than Shibuya or Shinjuku which was exactly what I wanted as the busyness in Tokyo can be quite overwhelming.

We came to this hotel running away from a dreadful capsule hotel and felt in heaven. Area is quiet, we were on the weekend, it seemed that during the week it would me more crowded. Walking distance from Akihabara and easy to get to Ginza, Shibuya, or any airport.
