Great location, staff was super attentive to my since the moment I arrive to their lobby to the moment I left. I accidentally left something in the room and they found it even if they can’t send it back since it’s a power bank. Still grateful they went above for me. They have a lounge for the evening with drink and small snacks that’s a nice touch.

Large room, well above Tokyo standards. With a kitchenette and everything to prepare meals or breakfast if needed. Modern and well maintained hotel, welcoming and helpful staff. The location on top of the subway station (Ginza line) is perfect to allow trips to anywhere in Tokyo. FAQs about hotels in Tokyo

See It to Believe It!

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!

Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Center near the waterfront, and savor the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.

Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.

For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Outdoor markets sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.

Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.

This trip was transitory.

This trip was transitory. We stayed further south but wanted to be within striking distance of Narita airport. Tokyo is always fascinating and lively. This is my fourth trip through Tokyo and I'm always torn between revisiting places I've visited and checking out new areas.

Tokyo is an amazing city, I was only there three short days and I didn't see half of it. Shibuya crossing is a must, Takeshitti Street is also a must. And hidden amongst the concrete jungle are hidden traditional gardens which are just amazing.

It's hard to put into words. Tokyo is amazing. It's definitely the kind of place you want to go back to. There is something for EVERYBODY. Doesn't matter what you're into, you'll find something here. People are friendly, helpful and polite. It's the only big city I've ever been to that is this clean. Absolutely crazy clean and fun place.

We stayed in upbeat and upmarket Shibuya at Miyashita Park. The Sequence Hotel. I was with my 17yo daughter. Seeing the tik tokers performing in the evening at Miyashita Park was so much fun. We loved the vibe of the location we stayed in - Shibuya crossing was close by, Shibuya 109 for shopping, train rides away to temples and great eateries. We had suica cards and my daughter being a wizz on google maps got us around very easily.

As a tourist, there is so much to see and do in Tokyo.

As a tourist, there is so much to see and do in Tokyo. If you have time to spare, catching a Kabuki performance is recommended. If it's not the right time to catch a Sumo match, there are quite a few shows to choose from. Disney Sea is a great way to spend a day. Exploring the Tokyo Metro is an experience. Hop on Hop off bus is a great way to get an overview of the city. Shibuya Crossing is a must! So much more to see and do...and eat!

Second mimaru property we stayed at in Tokyo. We really liked the last one (Ueno east) but liked this even more. The room was more spacious, very spacious by Tokyo standards. Same comfy beds and helpful friendly staff. The location was good - very close to station on the Oedo line which runs across to the east side for Asakusa and Ueno, as well as being close to the west side neighbourhoods. The immediate neighbourhood was office towers and tall hotels, but plenty of services and close to livelier parts of Shinjuku as well.

The location is really good, although it is a bit downhill, but it wasn’t big problem. It is 8-10 min walking distance from the main station in Takanadobaba, which is great because it has cheap lines to Shinjuku and Shibuya. Also there is a lot od restaurants near, and 7/11 store right next to hotel. In room you get 1 toiletries per person, 1 big towel and 1 small. We also got hairdryer, microwave, water boiling, little kitchen with sink, small fridge. Also TV bur we didn’t even try to use it. Air conditioning was also ok.

The hotel is very well located to explore Shinjuku and all of West Tokyo, and has all the facilities I could need (e.g. washing machines, vending machines). My room wasn't large, but was definitely better than others I have had in Tokyo. Staff could communicate in English, which was great! Fair prices for the area.

Our hotel room was cozy and comfortable. I liked the overall facilities and size. They have a good library where you can have coffee and chill. Location was a huge plus as it's quiet and really clean neighborhood. I would recommend such a neighborhood over crowded places like shinjuku and shibuya.
