ItalyVery beautiful, big, and cleaned room in a wonderful location. All the staff, from the owner to all the other people is really remarkable and kind. Very quiet place, fully relaxing. We had evening meals included, which were very good and served in a nice location. The Malindi beach is less than 5 minutes walking, but the staff easily arrange other options by very good local drivers. We had a beautiful stay in Villa Malindi!

The property is basic but has everything you need to sleep and wash.
The roof top is really comfortable with WiFi. The restaurant is there if you don’t want to go out and has a nice sunset.
I tried the omelet and sausage in the morning it was very yummy.
Depends on the price but if you get a good price, it will be a good deal.

Very friendly staff . There was always someone around to help out or to direct you to someone who would .
Check-in was good and clear . Kevin was very helpful and I think Mr Duncan ?.
Food was a good variety. Special
Shout out to our adopted grandfather ( didn’t get his name) he made sure I and the kids plus my mum were well fed and didn’t miss in some of the meals in a corner .
The family room was spacious and just right with the two kids.
I loved that there was a pool that was mainly for kids . It was just perfect for my 3 and 1 year old.
We utilised the spa and my mum enjoyed a relaxing massage.
We loved the privacy at the beach area and with all inclusive we got drinks etc ( ice-cream was charged though which was a bit meh as shouldn’t really in an all inclusive )
They’ve def done a great job of providing employment to the locals . Lots of people at hand

Malindi is currently regarded as the "dead town" but in my opinion, it's the perfect escape from all sorts of pollution- Instantly replaced by the facinating historical landmarks like hell's kitchen & Mambrui in totality, peace & serene, are just some of the healing that Malindi has to offer.

If you can cook in Malindi, please cook. Chefs are also too expensive but if you are up for it, great. The customer service in Malindi is questionable, some restaurants even packing sub food as your take away.
Also, the locals especially tour guides try to rip you off compared to other coastal towns, its quite annoying. Make sure you have someone who knows their way around Malindi so that you can be linked up.

Malindi town is typical of Kenya with a market, supermarket, lots of traders and as a tourist you are well served. It is a quiet safe area but restaurants tend to be quiet at night with few customers.If you want nightlife there are clubs and beach parties til 3am or later .

Cool laid back town. Action is on the beach. Local foods like fish, calamari, prawns easily gotten-mostly in the evening.
Its a 'crime' not to use a motor bike(boda boda) to tour the town on foot! Annoying whistles and hoots from the riders- just avoid eye contact! Malindi town is easy to walk around.
Coffee lovers have a huge choice- kahawa tungu( peppered with cinnamon&ginger powder)- on the bench at every turn of road -or- in Italian themed coffee joints by the beach and main streets. Lo Sfizio restaurant- along Lamu road is a great one.- Malaika Restaurant- Buntwani Beach is another.

Easy town to move around. Not that many pedestrian walkways. From my last visit(2023) there is an upgrade though.
Need for more coffee places.
The beach areas could be more cleaner.
For coffee and lovely delicious snacks,go to Malaika restaurant opposite the Buntwani Beach Front.
Walking is the healthiest way to move around Malindi,just don't give a visual contact with the boda boda taxis( you will ride unwillingly!)
Avoid the Tikka chicken with coloured(yellow) spicing.

The staff was amazing! The manager and Owner as well. Friendly and just felt like family.
The pool was clean and deep(3m).
The beach is next to the apartment/hotel.
Every weekend there would be something happening. Ie DJ and band.
Vasco de Gama was close by. Swahili dishes restaurant and Pizzerias near by. Made daily life easier.
It was so great I stayed here from Dec till Jan! For three weeks! Sarah, Martin, Fiona and the rest of the team, Thank you for a great stay!

Lydia is a very good host and also helped organize someone to help us move around Malindi.
The house looks exactly as the pictures, Very clean compound with a very clean pool and walking distance to the beach.
