We stayed for two nights and now we have booked for a further two nights.
The owners are incredible. So attentive and friendly.
We did the sunset cycle tour and were introduced to family members in the neighbouring area. 10/10.
It is about 2km from the town centre but this location is stunning in nature with beautiful Mountain View’s. Easy accessibility with tuk tuk or scooter.

The accommodation is the best we have stayed in from a global point of view not just Asia. The quality of craftsmanship from the owner is world class with regards to the carpenter skills. Spotless cleanliness, perfect AC, huge comfortable beds and rooms.

GermanyThe host is the best host I ever had in my life (and I travelled a lot). I wanted to eat traditional Khmer food. She took the time for me to bring me to the market in the morning to live an entire Khmer experience! I loved it. Plus she showed me how to cook traditional Khmer curry… it was very tasty. She made sure I could do whatever I feel like doing during my stay without pushing me to do stuff. I felt very good staying there and I wish I could have stayed longer. I hope she will visit me (either in France or in Germany)!!!
The room hat exactly what I needed. A Ventilator because it was hot and cold water to take a shower (even if you can increase the temperature of the water). It was very clean.
We could also drink water for free the entire journey. It helped me a lot.
You can rent a scooter (motorbike?) for 6$ and you have kayak location near by so you can enjoy being near the Prek Tek Chhouu.
I slept very well and yes some rooster can sing in the morning. But I loved it !!

- Great location in a quiet area just outside of the more busy Kampot, 7-8 minutes of motorbike/tuktuk (1.5$) to get to the center
- Comfortable bed, big room, nice shower and even… separate toilets from the bathroom (rarely seen in Asia)
- We rented a motorbike for a very good price, it was in excellent condition
- The place is just beautiful and the (very clean) swimming pool is a nice reward after a busy day

Kampt is a nice little town to visit to get away from the madness in Phnom Penh. It has a very laid back vibe and feels safe. Quite a few good options for dining and a wide variety of accommodations. Enjoyed three days just outside of town. We used it as a hub to visit Bokor National park, La Fontaine pepper farm and the salt flats via a scooter. It was hard to see so many alcoholic older expat men living there. I did go into one of the girly bars with a friend one night and they let you drink your beer without to much bother. if you showed and interest in them of course then they would start the hustle on ya but otherwise they let you be. I loved the trip to Bokor Mt. It's beautiful temples and history .Totally loved seeing those healthy happy Silver gibbons in their natural habitat. I was getting addicted to Tuk Tuk rides ,they were so much fun and very cheap. But it was good to be able to give the very skilled drivers a tip. They were so helpful and courteous.The river cruise was beautiful and although it was the wrong season to be spotting fireflys ,it was very serene and lovely to see other resorts and quaint little buildings from the boat. Kampot may not be a big town, but it has plenty of things to offer: cruising on the river, kayaking, visits of pepper plantations, trips to nearby Kep or to the mountains... We could have easily spent another day or two in Kampot. The atmosphere dowtown is lively, especially at night, with many restaurants, bars, night markets etc.Guest review byBettina
