New ZealandThis was probably my favourite hotel during our three weeks in Cambodia and Vietnam. I loved everything about it. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our 16yr old is 6ft2inches and hit his head on the hotel sign on the street. The next day, they invited him to stand under the sign….they had moved the sign higher!! Exceptional service!! Our rooms were spacious and immaculate and the pool was a quiet oasis under the lush canopy. Would definitely stay here again.

Cambodia has successfully dusted itself off from the ravages of war with its colourful capital of Phnom Penh rising from the ashes and sparkling once more. This fascinating city, on the banks of the Mekong River, features exotic markets, cultural jewels and is home to some of the friendliest people on earth.
A visit to the National Museum captures a slice of Cambodia’s ancient Khmer history and art. A different and more recent history suffocates and overwhelms visitors to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, the former prison of the Khmer Rouge, and The Killing Fields are a short drive from the capital.

You can satisfy your hunger pains with delicious French-Indochina-inspired meals at various street stalls or classy restaurants. The riverside area has the Art Deco Central Market for a great bargain and there are a variety of bars, especially near Sisowath Quay.

I liked the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh. The people I met were very welcoming and polite. It seemed a safe place to explore but as with everywhere keep your wits about you. The traffic is a little chaotic! Food was very good and very inexpensive compared to European prices.

Taking tuktuk is nice experience. Going to market is nice too. There are museums, temples within the city and restaurants are close to each other.
I like the walking street and the golden temple.

Evening river cruise very good value and relaxing way to lose an hour.
Huge weekend buzz on the Riverside walking street. Very busy and lively with plenty of street food offerings

A hidden gem. Great restaurants, magnificent river broadwalk, vibrant bars. Tuk tuks always available & cheap - but do negotiate price before getting in. Get an idea of what prices should be from your hotel or fellow seasoned travellers or locals.

Not too busy city.
Not too busy city. Streets were pretty clean and i was happy with the condition of the washrooms and toilets.
Being Muslim, there were some options for halal food.
However, walking around the city along roads and pavements can be a hazard for older people because of uneven road surfaces and lack of pedestrian walkways. Roads need resurfacing too- too many potholes.

it is expensive city, nothing much to offer, trips for tourist should be made affortable so that there will be more people avail the tourist attractions, 10 dollars per place is very expensive, and food is ranging 5 dollars each meal... its just ok, good thing there is a outlet shop, there i enjoyed it.

A lovely traditional; family owned Cambodian hotel. Very clean spacious room. Excellent staff service. The manager Pov ensured that the hotel ran very smoothly and accommodated the needs of our group. It is well located near Riverside, Royal palace and Museum. Down a quiet alley so not noisy at night. Water fountain in foyer to replenish your bottles. Air conditioning in the room was very welcome.

Very flexible and helpful staff. I could leave my heavy luggage for a week at the hotel when I travelled to another city in Cambodia. Also, a late check out at a reasonable surcharge was no problem. Its location is close to many sights. The pool and the rooftop bar offer stunning views on the skyline of Phnom Penh.

A truly wonderful hotel to stay at- I have stayed here four times and each time it is exceptional in terms of the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, a fabulous spread for breakfast and very spacious, clean and well prepared bedrooms. This hotel is great value for money. The staff is really very welcoming and courteous. Location is generally in city centre. Breakfast buffet also good - egg station, some western hot dishes + local specialities, 2 or 3 different fresh fruits every day. Superb drinks at hotel open sky bar.
