The apartment was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and located in a peaceful area – but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and kindness of our host and her lovely family. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with open arms and made us feel genuinely at home.
What touched us the most were the thoughtful gestures, especially toward our 8-year-old son. They went out of their way to make him feel special – offering little treats, engaging with him kindly, and making sure he was happy and comfortable throughout the stay. It made the experience even more meaningful for us as parents.
The location is also ideal – just a short drive from Kotor, Tivat, and Perast, so we could explore the best of the Bay of Kotor while enjoying the calm and authenticity of Risan.
A truly heartwarming stay. We highly recommend it and would love to come back again!

Amazing view. Far from the tourist bustle but easy to reach if you want to. Tamara was flexible regarding our arrival which was amazing as the road took a bit longer than expected. Thanks so much. Nearest beach was like 2min away of walking and the farest beach was like 20min of walking. Who wants to really relax and enjoy peace and quiet i would recommend Risan.
The place just vibes with positivity and relaxation.
And the owners are helpful in everything that you might encounter with, they wana make your stay as pleasant as possible, so you really relax and enjoy the stay.

Cheaper place on the Montenegrin cost and afordable to swim and later eat and have a drink and have good enough accommodation. If you have a car you can go to Perast, Kotor, Herceg Novi, Tivat, or by bus as well.

Nice small place, great with family with children.
Nice small place, great with family with children. Small beaches, nice and quiet. City center is small but has a nice park and you can find great cafe with excellent cakes. There are restaurants on the seashore that has nice food.
There is also museum "Rimski mozaici" that we didn't visit cause it wasn't working but we heard it is great.

An exquisite little apartment nestled in the old town of Risan! The interior boasts a neat minimalist design, yet it provides all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The view from the window onto a street that exudes a medieval ambiance creates an atmosphere of warmth and coziness. Overall, the experience was positive, and I was very pleased with my stay!

Eco House Risan is for sure THE BEST accomodation in Montenegro. You have a very comfortable, clean and well equipped apartment (even a toster in the kitchen! ) and a beautiful terrace with sunbeds, grill and shower (!). Besides we found a nice "welcome pack" - some eggs, bread, butter, home made jam and a bottle of wine. Thank You - Anke and James!

The flat is very comfortable and immaculately clean, the terrace has a breathtaking view, the pool is nice and clean and has a shower and is very close to the beach. Ivan is very helpful and welcoming, and he makes the best grilled fish and shrimps. If we ever come back to Montenegro, will definitely stay here.

spacious apartment, comfortable bedding and parking place nearby.
Very clean rental and cleaning done every afternoon by a rigourous employee.
Generous breakfast included at "Hotel CONTE" located at 3 kms from our apartment

Very warm and attentive host, super helpful and kindly supportive throughout my stay! Also close enough to food and restaurants nearby. Risan was refreshingly less overcrowded than kotor!
