Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms very clean, spacious, comfortable and beautiful. Breakfast was nice. We came for a wedding which was in the Glass Hall just opposite the street, so location was good for that. Without a car you have to take a taxi to go to the center of Strumica. Staff always helped us to order taxis. Best to order taxis in advance during wedding season. In August you can hear the weddings until 1pm, so bring ear plugs. ;) Overall very happy with this hotel.

We had a lovely restful stay at this apartment which was clean, bright and had everything we needed. It’s within walking distance to the town centre and shops and has a balcony with a great view. Our hosts were amazing during our stay, going the extra mile to drive us to get cash out and bringing us an extra heater.

    I was there for a conference.

    I was there for a conference. There is really nothing exceptional to see in the area. Some nice waterfalls, a few Roman ruins and castle ruins. The food is ok. Vegetables are very fresh from the region.

    It has a great park and loads of eating and drinking options...

    It has a great park and loads of eating and drinking options, but otherwise there isn't much to recommend the town. The main square has got to be the most lackluster square in Europe. The Korzo is good for people watching though.

    Lovely place for a weekend escape.

    Lovely place for a weekend escape. Strumica is a clean town, has a nice park. Beautiful nature, great waterfalls close to the city, also a good point to visit the beautiful Doiran lake. It was a bit challenging to find a place to eat as we did not book in advance - the good restaurants were full while many were not actually working. We wanted to visit two monasteries but neither was working.

    Listen all the towns and cities and villages in north macedonia are worthwhile unique and interesting...they tell a story the more you travel in them.... The walk to the fort was wonderful there is ample pleasant fine places to sit down outdoors and great balkan brandies and cognacs available cheaply in little bodegas in airline shooters Listen I just find north macedonia while rusticated over mileniums fascinating....between the greek bulgarian Mesopatanian and turkish and orthodox influences as well as their timeless folk songs on the radio....macedonia is a long story with about 100 pages.... It's both sophisticated and crude, opulent and cheap, reserved but complex, spiritual yet questioned, earthy but jaded, conquered many times but ok and always processing.
