NetherlandsEverything is just perfect, compact hotel, way overstaffed and they are all super pleasant and friendly en helpful, clean, close to the beach en restaurants, swimmingpool downstairs, rooftop jacuzzi, free morning yoga class on the rooftop, good breakfast (we got to make our own waffles), got good advice on things to do and see en for going out. Very decent rooms all with porch or balcony, everything just perfect!

My mum has problem with her leg and they arranged the room just near restaurant .and all my requests and questions were solved or answered very well.And I stayed 4 hotels ,all are 4or 5stars hotels around Mauritius island and their buffets for breakfast and dinner were high level among them.we even had a Chinese traditional topic eve buffet with high quality food and a live dancing show.

The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with lots of variety of food. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

United KingdomThe apartment is great, it's located just a few minutes walk to Flic en Flac beach, on a quiet, safe street. it has everything you need for a self catering stay - fridge, cooker, kettle, microwave etc. The water is hot and the WiFi works well. The apartment is quite cool during the day but I did use the aircon at night which worked very well, there's also a fan. I loved having breakfast on the balcony and it was useful to be able to dry clothes. The family who own the apartments and live downstairs are very friendly. You can park easier on the street outside the house. It's a great place to stay!

Saudi Arabiaeverything was exceptional… this is not 4 stars resort, there is really no difference between it and the other 5 stars resorts in Mauritius, the service was amazing, they really do care about the customers comfort, we did the check in inside our room! what a great service!! they always care about the cleanliness of the room, and the house keeping was always there when we need them.
all the staff were amazingly helpful, smiling, and so caring.
the prices was really good compared to the other resorts.

Great service, adequate to a price. True variety in restaurants, they are totally not alike as in some resorts.
Beach is not top notch for sea swimmers, but that is a general thing at Mauritius. Still good for sport and jogging.
Overall expensive but is worth it.

We liked our chosen accommodation, we had a good view of the beach from our balcony, the staff were great and we want to go back to sample lunch at the Creole Shack! The beach was lovely and safe for swimming and there was a good variety of eateries from beach stalls to high end restaurants and all manner of cuisines. Everything is in walking distance and four km in land there is a very large mall being built and a new state of the art hospital. Good vibe, nice restaurants, felt safe, fantastic snorkeling opportunities from the beach, convenient shopping mall at Cascavelle for groceries, etc. Proximity to Tamarin to catch catamaran trip. Flic-en-Flac offers not a fancy stay, but congenial, friendly, and economical environment. Swimming in the ocean or taking a mile long running along the shore allows visitors to stay in good health while traveling. This is one of the very rare spot visitors get to mingle with Mauritian residents more closely, unlike in other fancy hotels. Lots of restaurants, stores and a nice beach to watch the sunsets. We ate supper at several different restaurants and every meal was top notch. Our favourite was octopus curry. On a sad note, stay away from the TIGADGET Store above the Jumbo supermarket in Flic en Flac if you are looking for a Emtel tourist only SIM card. He charged us 1500 mur for the same card you can get at the airport for 750 mur. Not a good start to our vacation.Guest review byMason
