PolandThe apartment was exactly as described. It was small but comfortable as it had everything you might need inside including kitchen items. The exterior of the apartment is also very nice as there is a swimming pool and place to sit with the chairs and the table. The hosts were really nice and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here.

A bit beaten town, lots of drunks and abandoned houses. There are some nice restaurants around (Chez Tino, Green Island Beach Restaurant) and places to visit (Île aux Cerfs, GRSE waterfall), but overall not to stay for too long.

The village is charming, easy to go on the boat to other islands. I recommend a visit to Ile aux Cerf, you can relax or do some sport e.g waterski, swimming. By boat to GRSE Waterfall. Take a BBQ lunch to one of the other island there.

It is a great location to see traditional Mauritian life.
It is a great location to see traditional Mauritian life. A few minutes bus ride is the unspoilt beach at Palmar. It is the best beach we have seen on the island. The reef is close to shore and the water is crystal clear.

we liked everything. But the most important: the whole staff was fantastic. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by Anais. She was the first good impression. Later on on the swimming pool for adults Mr. Anil was for us as a good ghost 👻. And concierge corner: they organized for us everything, we called them No Problem guys😉. I must write their real names: Lindsay and Merlin. And my birthday surprise: bottle of champagne+ see photo.And excellent dinners. Thanks for all!👍We will back.

Room was quiet, clean and spacious with excellent view to the garden. We were woken up every morning by a concert of colorful tropical birds, such a paradise!!! Just a few meters ahead you can find the turquoise water beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas for every hotel guest.
Food was excellent as well - enough food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner and variety every day.
We would definitely recommend the Silver Beach Hotel and hopefully come back one day!

The hotel is nice, breakfast was very good, just the location shown on booking.com is incorrect, Google maps show it correctly. The location is sligthly remote some 10-15 minutes walk from the town center. The children had a fun in the pool. Overall it's a good option if you have a car.
