PolandWe are absolutely satisfied with our stay at the Oasis hotel and would recommend it to everyone visiting Dhigurah island!
The hotel is beautiful, well equipped and only few steps from the beach. There is a small, cozy garden where the meals are served. You can enjoy a free coffee or tea at any time. Our room was cleaned every day and there was a bottle of water waiting for us.
Apart from the hotel itself, what deserves a great appreciation is the staff. They were looking after us literally from our first to our last step on the island. The personnel is responsive and always there for you to help. On our last evening the hotel organized a fantastic surprise that we will never forget. We were feeling really welcomed and taken care of which we have never experienced to this extend in any other hotel we visited. Special thanks to Waruna, who pampered our room with great attention to details and took care of us during breakfasts.
Thank you Oasis Team for the unforgettable stay!

SerbiaEverything was great, we had a lovely stay and wouldn't change a thing. Our room was cleaned, and towels were changed on a daily basis. The hotel provides beach towels too.
The breakfast is really good!
Everyone in the hotel is so welcoming, helpful, and always at your service; they made our stay on this lovely island even more memorable.
We're definitely choosing this hotel if we visit Dhigurah again.

SerbiaSpacious and clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We booked full board, and the food was very good. Hotel organised a speedboat transfer for us so we didn't have to worry about it. All in all we had a great stay in sands grand and we are sure we will go back.

PolandI’m very happy with my stay. The room is high standard and I really liked it. For breakfast, there are two options, and I definitely preferred the Maldivian one. The staff is very friendly and helpful, organizing everything you need, take care to make sure you have a wonderful stay. Here, you can also rent a scooter or a bike, which is a great option. I definitely recommend this place!

Location is perfect (close to restaurants and beach), the breakfast in the morning is delicious, staff very friendly and welcoming and plenty of activities. They organised the speedboat for us and waited at the dock for us. When leaving they also helped to bring our luggage to the dock
This is a brand new establishment so they are still improving. If you do book a speedboat with them, do contact them a few days before and ask which counter at the airport to wait at. It does get quite hectic with the number of boats arriving at the same time

JapanThe hosts were extremely attentive and friendly, made me feel like at home. The room was super clean, surprised that they seem to do the house-cleaning twice a day. Water, tea, and coffee in the room was always refilled. The breakfast was nice too, there was the choice of continental and local, and I recommend the local! I really liked their garden as well, it was relaxing to look at it from the restaurant.
Special thanks to the host, the speed boat I was originally booked for to return to Male was canceled due to the sudden bad weather, but the host have promptly arranged to book for a flight to Male instead, and I have managed to safely return to the international airport on time. Could not show my appreciation enough.
Highly recommend this hotel if ever staying at Dhigurah!

SwitzerlandThe accommodation is new and very modern, with rooms cleaned daily. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff is extremely friendly and helps with every request. Breakfast can be enjoyed at the accommodation from 07:00 to 09:00 in the morning. Many good restaurants (like Absolute Thai, Hermit’s, and Malaveli) and the beach, where bikinis are allowed, are within walking distance. Various tours, such as the whale shark tour, can be booked directly at the accommodation. The hotel also arranged the transfer from and to Male for me, and everything went smoothly. I can definitely recommend this hotel!

The sand bank and bikini beach were beautiful. Nice that US dollars are accepted but annoying that the $ needs to be pristine. Request speed boat for whale shark excursion. Nice variety of restaurants.

The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life.
The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. Don't miss going to the sandbank at one of the ends of the island.

Dhigurah is a beautiful island with a long sandy beach, without sunbeds and umbrellas, the palm trees lining the island will provide you with sufficient shade. At the end of the island there is a sandbank, which can be reached by walking, cycling or scooter through the tropical forest. There are several shops with groceries, souvenirs and restaurants on the island. There is a lot of accommodation in different places on the island with quality services. The local people are smiling and friendly. There is a hospital, a police station, the Maldivian office and mosques on the island. Waste from the island is taken to the forest, where it is burned in the afternoon, we only felt the smoke from the waste when there was a strong wind. You can get to the island from the airport by speedboat, the journey takes about two hours, if you suffer from nausea, I recommend taking anti-nausea medicine, you will definitely need it when the waves are bigger. There is a coral reef around the island, you can see many colorful fish, we were lucky to see a turtle and a small shark. There are resorts on the surrounding atolls, to which seaplanes fly daily. What we didn't like on the island is the massive construction of new accommodation facilities, I'm afraid that in a short time, there will be more tourists on the island than locals and the island will lose its authenticity and beauty.

The northern part of the island is where are the local village, hotels, restaurants (there is a good selection of them) and shops located. The southern part, in other hand, is covered by lush tropical forest. There are walking paths through the island. As a whole is easily walkable or driveable by bicycle.

An all-in-one place I’ve ever seen, and it's totally out of this world, which has endless stretching sandbanks, jade-colored lagoons, sunrises and sunsets steps away, lavishly alive corals, crystal clear waters for snorkeling, diving, massive vivid marine animals like tons of various fishes, dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays, whale sharks, almost everything, you name it.
But there are full of constructions, tree cutting, nature damage and trashes, plastics bottles.
Humans should be grateful and appreciate our sacred nature.

What an all-in-one place I’ve ever seen, and it's totally out of this world, which has endless stretching sandbanks, jade-colored lagoons, sunrises and sunsets steps away, lavishly alive corals, crystal clear waters for snorkeling, diving, massive vivid marine animals like tons of various fishes, dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays, whale sharks, almost everything, you name it.
One thing is too much trash and plastics bottles along the beach starting from the sand bank to the very end of north side of the island.
Humans should be grateful and appreciate this sacred nature.
