ArgentinaEverything was perfect: staff, from the manager to the receptionist and the personnel in the bar and restaurant.
The food in the restaurant was amazing and not expensive. Good variety of cold beer. Breakfast was also very complete with a lady preparing omelettes/eggs. An expresso machine good be ideal.
The room was spacious, and the mattress really confortable. Good shower with hot water.
When we arrived we shared a problem we were having with our rented car and the receptionist called the manager, who drove us to a local mechanic who took care of it and solved our problem. We really appreciated this!

Highly trained staff, excellent wifi that's strong enough for uninterrupted video calls all throughout the property, great animal activity options and tasty food. Our group seriously considered extending our stay the day before departure. ALL activities are worth considering. It feels like a true oasis. We were at the bush camp and truly enjoyed drinking our drinks in the attached lounge with our room and watching warthog and steenbock groups play in front of our room through the day.

Otjiwarongo Railway Station with a locomotive worked between 1912-1960 is a real attraction. We visited the Cultural Center where 14+ children have the opportunity of dancing, playing on instruments, painting, drawing and so on after the school. Also we visited the Multi-Purpose Help Centre, where Monica Tjehiua presented the goals of the MPHC, which -for instance- feed the poor children, and organize lots of programs for the disabled persons, supporting old people. From Otjiwarongo it's quite easy to reach the Cheetah Foundation (40-45 km) and the Waterberg Plateau Game Reserve (80 km) as well.Guest review byEndreHungary - 10.0
This is a perfect halfway house from Etosha to Windhoek.
This is a perfect halfway house from Etosha to Windhoek. We left Etosha to travel south, visiting the Cheetah Conservation Foundation at Otjiwarongo and then enjoying a relaxed dinner and evening at Out of Town Africa Lodge. Our stay was perfect. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was relaxed, we were not the early birds, but we were not rushed away by the staff. Out of Africa Town Lodge exceeded all our expectations as far as accommodation, ambience, comfort, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff as well as superb dinner on the outdoor patio and a delicious buffet breakfast. This is a crossroad town.
This is a crossroad town. Good place for an overnight stay, gas up or eat. Not a place I would visit for its tourist attractions. This is the closest you can stay when visiting the Cheetah Conservation Fund and I found the drive to the CCF quite easy.Guest review byGoFullNomadUnited States
