Danjan and his wife Anita and son Danje went beyond our expectations regarding welcoming. Such nice people! It was a privilege to stay there. Food was excellent, like being invited in the family for Xmas or other nice occasion! The scenic drive offered us some other views of Namibia. The Chalets are nice and very clean and offers you a very nice peaceful and nice view. Not to forget about the animal feeding in the morning, Patches, the Ostriches and the Goats and not to forget about the cats and dogs. Thank you once again for your kindness! We travelled as 2 couples. We booked 2 bungallows, but at check-in we got upgrade to one big family double-room bungallow with 2 bathrooms. That was very nice and pleasant. There were no mosquito nets over beds, but thet was absolutely not necessary as all windows, doors and any other openings were equiped with nets and the room was sprayed. So night was very peacefull without any insects. The pool is a gem! It is quite deep and large and it is constructed as infinity pool: you enjoy your drink and take long view over savanna. Dinner was fantastic - very tasty and big portions (cooked/grilled on coal). Breakfast also delicious. Staff just very nice at any time. We have had very hot water (boiled with wood-heated external tank), wifi worked well. We wish we could stay longer!

The place is spectacular – in the middle of the bush, surrounded by peace and tranquility. The perfect spot to escape for a few days and unwind after a busy stretch. We did several activities with the rhinos, and the experience was a 10 out of 10. The staff is lovely, and every detail is taken care of. The food is incredible – some of the best we’ve had on the trip. The work they do with the rhinos is admirable. We learned so much, and it’s clear the caretakers are fully dedicated to the animals. The rooms are simply a dream! It was our honeymoon, and this was the perfect destination to end the journey. Highly recommended for at least a two-night stay. We had high expectations, and it still exceeded them. Without a doubt, we hope to come back soon. Thank you to the whole Kifaru team – it was an unforgettable experience.

Wonderful surroundings, helpful staff, and an incredibly fantastic, spotless hut… I loved it! I arrived late, yet they were very kind and extremely helpful. Since I was leaving extremely early the next day, they prepared a takeaway breakfast just for me. A special thank you for that!

The whole lodge is designed and decorated with a lot of love. A wholesome experience. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. A welcome drink and snack platter was included. I only stayed one night and wish I would have stayed longer.

There is quite a bit to see in Outjo and the surrounding area. Outjo itself is a pleasant small town and it is within easy reach of the Etosha National Park, Twyfelfontein, the Petrified Forest and Vingerklip.

Outjo is not a very clean town but ideal stop over for...

Outjo is not a very clean town but ideal stop over for travelers on their way to or from Etosha. Visitors can also by essential supplies for their on-going travels. An excellent and reasonably priced place to eat is at the Farmhouse Boutique in town, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner under the shady trees.

Outjo is a quaint little town on the way to Etosha National Park. There are some nice local restaurants that serve delicious food, cake and snacks. The people are very friendly. The surrounding areas are very beautiful in the rainy season.
