HungaryThis is a beautifully renovated, unique property, which feels like a home away from home. I think I had the upgraded room but it really was gorgeous, with a very comfortable bed, huge bathroom with double sink, facilities for making tea/coffee, loads of TV channels, including NETFLIX, and a minibar. Yes, the stairs are steep, but if you are able to climb stairs, it is so worth it! I did not have breakfast but my colleagues reported that it was great. I really can’t fault this place - such a breath of fresh air after large, generic, corporate chain hotels.

The transportation system in and around Amsterdam is easy to...
The transportation system in and around Amsterdam is easy to navigate. It took a few tries to find our way around, but once we understood how things worked, it was fairly straight forward. Just remember to tap in and out when you use your bankcard to pay on the trams, otherwise you'll end up paying the maximum of a day (which weren't really horrible).
Most of the signs in and around Amstelveen was in Dutch only, even the menu at the local restaurant, but that wasn't an issue for us. We used the area mainly as a place to stay the nights since we didn't want to stay downtown Amsterdam.

Reasonable cost for parking (anywhere in Europe frankly) is my motivation to look outside of centre of city areas and then use local transport or walk. Parking costs at hotels in our budget in Amsterdam city were very high - secure convenient Q-park station in Amsterveen was E18 per day compared to E40-50 a day at hotels closer to the centre.

I loved the very name from the start!
I loved the very name from the start! My first impressions the moment I arrived were positive, the younger lady at the reception gave me useful instructions on how to reach the centre of Amsterdam, which buses and trams to take; helpful with calling the taxi; the choice of food and drinks for the breakfast was vast and abundant, the lady very discrete and kind; other persons at the reception desk also very kind and helpful; I also loved the beautiful and friendly cat waiting for me sleeping in the armchair in front of the hotel, when I arrived late in the evening, giving that "being at home" impression. Really lovely!

I was basically in Amsterdam. The transfer is easy with public transports.
The surround area of the Hotel is not nice.
There's a empty building in one side very creepy. and in the other side there's a field full of trash and old stuff.

A lovely wooded place on the outskirts of Amsterdam.
A lovely wooded place on the outskirts of Amsterdam. Close to the airport so there is a little bit of noise from the planes, but it wasn't bad at all. We enjoyed staying there rather than the busyness of the city centre, and it was cost effective.

You will receive what has been written on the website - It was the first time we stayed in a camping hut. It reaches our expectation and requirement. For an expensive city like Amsterdam, I think, it is affordable and you stay in nature - this is also a plus point. Don't take a bus which direct from the hotel, just walk or go with a car to the tram station (approximately 1,4 km away from the hotel) - you can use Amsterdam ticket (9 Eur/ day - or 15 Eur/ 2days and so on) for transportation.

An excellent apart-hotel with convenient transport access to both the airport and the center of Amsterdam. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, and the staff at the reception are very friendly. The beds are comfortable, there is a small kitchen in the room, and the air conditioning works well. Everything was great!

The hotel was nice, neat and clean. Had all the amenities that we needed. Close enough to Amsterdam to visit the city, but then out to the suburbs to enjoy the forest close by.
