Everything was fantastic, including our welcome Prosecco from Timo, the Floor Manager, staff efficiency and friendliness, breakfasts and dinners. What Guests Said About Amsterdam:

8.0

The architecture is beautiful.

The architecture is beautiful. You have a great choice what to do and to see depending on your preferences. Traveling in winter can be a little harder because of constant rain , it doesn’t stop tourists though. The city center is crowded, as well as museums and main attractions. The prices are rather high. The transport is very efficient. Buy a ticket for 24/48/72 hours and use any type of public transport. The only inconvenience is that you have to do check in and out every time you get on and off the transport. There are plenty of cafes , restaurants, fast food kiosks, especially if n the center. It was hard to find a good supermarket, but it might have been just in my case.

Amsterdam is a beautiful city, its museums are extraordinary, and they alone make it worth a visit. I also really liked the traditional, narrow, crooked houses, which are very characteristic. Getting around the city is easy. The center is certainly best explored on foot, but there are also buses, metro, trams, and the ever-present bicycles!

Such a beautiful city.

Such a beautiful city. Ideal for walking and exploring during the day and so pretty at night. Very friendly locals. Fantastic choice of restaurants. Beware of the bicycles!! They are everywhere and move fast! Great museums. We visited The Van Goch then went on to the Christmas Market. You have to taste the Gluwein (mulled wine). Delicious. If your feet start to complain with all the walking hop on a bus or tram.

The people were very friendly. It’s a beautiful city. We love to just walk all day but the bikes are a problem and go very fast, you need to have you wits about you at all times as some footpaths are blocked. The boat tour is a must.

The best location! I have travelled to Amsterdam 6 times in the last 2 years, all in different hotels. This was by far the best location, we didn’t use taxis or public transport once as we were able to walk everywhere. City centre is 5 mins away. Despite this the hotel is situated on a really quiet road on a canal which is beautiful. The staff were amazing giving us recommendations for what is nearby which is always helpful. Was overall a really lovely, clean and pretty hotel. Coffee station with a bar and snacks were a really nice touch.

Our Executive King Room Panoramic View had windows all round, and the view of Amsterdam was good, although the hotel is located a long way from the city centre. The staff in their restaurant were excellent, and generally, their staff were good. The buffet breakfast was also worth visiting, and on Sat and Sun it is open until 11 am, which was lovely.
