AustriaI loved the apartment with 1 bedroom. the style was so… modern Dutch. really clean, a wonderful view of the harbour, really quiet and cozy. It rained at some point, and the whole atmosphere was really cozy, just looking out the window to the marina. it is 30 minutes walk to city center, but the walk only gave us a good reason to see the city. also, if you walk in the direction of the neighbourhood, and not the City center, you will find really nice and quaint places very near. the room has all you need, hair drier, vault, bathroom equipped with shower, heated floors, and the lounge of the hotel is really great. however, sometimes, if the lounge gets pretty busy, the waiters tend to take longer to come to you. the spa is also great, sauna only, no pool. really good breakfast as well.

The streets and canals were beautiful and we enjoyed walking around.
Plenty to do and see, lovely patisserie and coffee shops.
We stayed two days and didn’t see everything we would’ve like to unfortunately so good reason to return.

Amsterdam is a wonderful city to visit. I absolutely fell in love with its charm, picturesque canals, and vibrant atmosphere. The city is full of history, culture, and stunning architecture, with cozy cafés, lively markets, and beautiful parks around every corner. The people are friendly, and there’s a perfect blend of modern energy and traditional Dutch character that makes exploring Amsterdam truly unforgettable.

The architecture is beautiful.
The architecture is beautiful. You have a great choice what to do and to see depending on your preferences. Traveling in winter can be a little harder because of constant rain , it doesn’t stop tourists though. The city center is crowded, as well as museums and main attractions. The prices are rather high. The transport is very efficient. Buy a ticket for 24/48/72 hours and use any type of public transport. The only inconvenience is that you have to do check in and out every time you get on and off the transport. There are plenty of cafes , restaurants, fast food kiosks, especially if n the center. It was hard to find a good supermarket, but it might have been just in my case.

Amsterdam is a beautiful city, its museums are extraordinary, and they alone make it worth a visit.
I also really liked the traditional, narrow, crooked houses, which are very characteristic.
Getting around the city is easy. The center is certainly best explored on foot, but there are also buses, metro, trams, and the ever-present bicycles!

Such a beautiful city. Ideal for walking and exploring during the day and so pretty at night.
Very friendly locals. Fantastic choice of restaurants.
Beware of the bicycles!! They are everywhere and move fast!
Great museums. We visited The Van Goch then went on to the Christmas Market.
You have to taste the Gluwein (mulled wine). Delicious.
If your feet start to complain with all the walking hop on a bus or tram.

Amazing place and amazing owner/host. Karen is an incredibly kind and welcoming person who will ensure you are accommodated. This is a peaceful stay and the location is amazing. It’s an easy 10 minute walk to the free ferry which will take you to the heart of Amsterdam central. Don’t bother paying for ridiculously expensive hotels in the city centre when you can stay here for half the price.

Location wasn't near to central but still I loved the district.
Very near to stations so it'll still easy to get to the city centre.
Room was awesome, clean & air conditioned.
Staff was helpful and easy to talk to.
I would favor XO hotels again If i'm to visit Amsterdam again!

The hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. The area is a bit out of the way from the city centre but transport link is very close. What I like most is their 24-hour cafe/lounge. If you’re going to Amsterdam and looking for a decent place to stay but in a tight budget, I would suggest this place.

The location is a bit far from the city centre, but it can easily be accessed by Metro, which is just 3 minutes walk from the hotel, 10 minutes trip and you are un Amsterdam Central Station.
The price is dare compared to the hotels the centre of the city.
