A bustling small city, Eindhoven is the ‘Capital of Dutch Design’ and home to the Design Academy. It houses a renowned technical university, and is a European technological hub that makes it shine with modern buildings and venues. The 5th-largest city in the Netherlands has also become popular for the fast-growing Eindhoven Airport.
Although it gained its city rights in 1232, until the foundation of the Phillips Company in 1891 it was still a small village. Encompassing the growth of the company, at the beginning of the 21st century its population had jumped to 200.000 people.
Nowadays, it still attracts companies and people wanting to develop themselves in the fields of creativity and innovation. The Dutch Design Week is a famous event that takes place in October, while contemporary media, art and technology inspire the city’s agenda throughout the year.
Choosing hotels in Eindhoven’s city centre is the best way to have everything at hand. However, hotels or B&B’s near the train station or Eindhoven Airport are also a good option to avoid last-minute rushes. Check out Booking.com’s deals before you travel!
We absolutely loved the city. It has such a cool and calm vibe. We loved eating in those street food court type restaurants where you order via QR code. Everything is digital in Eindhoven. We traveled by a rented bicycle and this is the best way to see the city. Even if its rainy - suck it up. See the Evoluon, Daf museum, Strijp, have a VR experience and enjoy amazing architecture.

We were there for a music festival and like any city or town there are good bits and some iffy bits. There's lots to see in Eindhoven and we didn't get the chance to do much more than scratch the surface of the city. We'd be very happy to go back and do more exploring

Its right on the airport terminal, so good for catching an early flight.
The room is basic but comfortable.
The biggest negative is that the hotel does not offer dinner and you can only get some fast food in the area. The airport restaurant ( snacks and pizza only) closes at 20:00 and the there is only MD close by.

Eindhoven is a great place to come and shop, take in a leisurely meal, and just relax. Everyone is very friendly and although its outward appearance is not as pretty as Amsterdam or as large as Rotterdam it still has a charm that keeps drawing me back. There is something for everyone here and you can take in a football match at PSV or a music event at Dynamo, it is a young vibrant city with a very nice up-and-coming area at the old Philips site - Strijp S
Don't forget to check out the DAF and Philips museums - really good day out

A truly unremarkable town.
A truly unremarkable town. We had to walk for 12 minutes even to get to a coffee. A US diplomate once described the Cold War West German Capital of Bonn as "Half as big as an average cemetery in Chicago, but double as dead". Eindhoven meets this description as well. I will never consider staying or passing through there again.
First the property owners are great people. They made check in and check out very smooth for me. There was a huge snow storm that day in Eindhoven, and they also offered to pick me up from airport. On the next morning they take me back to the airport, which was amazing. The property is very cozy and clear, everything a one person may need. They also gave me a beer free-of-charge as a welcome. I highly recommend this place.
The location is amazing - only couple minutes on foot from the main station. The city centre is just behind the hotel. There is a supermarket just across the street, Starbucks within the walking distance, Primark is next door... Employees at the reception desk are amazing, super kind. My full recommendation for the hotel. I didn't try their breakfast so I can't comment.
Perfect hotel! It was possible to leave our backpacks earlier, the room was super clean and we were so grateful for the drinks and snacks left in the room, there was also a mini fridge. The location was perfect, really close to the center and close to the festival venue, which was the main goal of our trip to Eindhoven. Would stay there again without hesitation!
It's a hotel in the airport which is clearly better than the second one but located further away. The bus stop to the center is exactly near the hotel entrance so you have to walk one way from the airport if you proceed further after. Everything is clean and on the standard.
Hotel is located in the very center of Eindhoven, next to train station, shopping streets and restaurants. We asked extra pillows and our request was kindly fulfilled. Very friendly and hospitable personnel, always ready to provide their assistance at any time in any issue.
Amazing location, right next to the train station and a 2 minute walk from plenty of restaurants and shops. Social Hub is a place for university students so there is even a laundry room and lounge. Perfect for a few night stay in Eindhoven.
Clean room, central location, relatively close to the Dynamo Festival, Albert Heijn close by to buy food and drinks.Bus stop in front of the hotel, direction Eindhoven Central train station.Good value for money.Thank you :-)
Hotel Nassau is located in a perfect position, all around you can find restaurants and bars and it's a few minutes walking to the train station and to the city centre.
The room was daily cleaned and very quite by night.
The atmosphere of the hotel is very cool. The room had very high ceilings and designed tastefully. It was very clean as well. The hotel is very close to the main train station and to the city center.
Excellent location on the Kleine Berg, right in the city centre of Eindhoven!
Enough connections (both via plug & USB) in the hotel room!
Option for snacks from 24/7 mini market in the common area!
This hotel is in the middle of the city center of Eindhoven. Close to everything!
The breakfast (down in the restaurant that looks like a bar) is very good. I got my musli, yoghurt and nice coffee:)
Located in centre of Eindhoven, 10min walk from central station what was great for us. Nice and friendly personnel. Hotel La Reine is a very good choice for a sleepover.
Location: very close to the railway and bus station, close to city centre. Good air conditioning (very welcome during our stay). Hotel has an on-site restaurant.
Excellent location in the city centre with easy access to the train station and the bus to the airport. The room was comfortable and staff were always welcoming
The hotel is located on beatiful street right in the city center. Owner was very friendly and the room was just what we needed for our short stay in eindhoven.
