Jildou the owner provides flawless hospitality and serves excellent delicious dinner as well as breakfast. The speciality is that this „Herberge/Hotel“ creates a feeling like in the good ok‘ times and not these cold/modern/over-stylish impersonal Hotels you usually get offered these days. She also offers great inside to really local places to visit aside the tourists areas. Absolutely loved our 3-Nights stay and we surely will be back again.

NorwayExcellent service and value for the money. Breakfast and dinner served at the table. The staff and owner are always very helpful. We travel with a 4 year old. She loves the donkeys(and the owners old dog), and the enclosed garden(s) makes it possible for the adults to relax even when she is spinning around doing her activities. It is not a place with a playground, but the whole setup with plenty of outdoor space makes it a very nice, relaxing place to stay also for families with children. This must be our 4th stay, and we will return!

We had a great sunny week at the beach. The host is verry friendly and the communication worked verry good in english and also in german.
The flat has everything we needed and is perfectly located near to the beach. It took us two minutes to walk from the flat to the sea.
The beach is realy cool, too. The kids can play at little playgrounds, adults have fun by playing volleyball, basketball, football, go skating or take a lesson at the surf school.
We had a great time!

Great simple mobile home at a great location of the camping Holle Poarte. Close to the beach and all other facilities. The mobile home has a washing machine and private mobile wifi. Good price for a relaxing week at Makkum beach.

Lovely airy room with views over the market square. Had Pizza from restaurant next door. Host was very willing to get us extra pillows and coffee sachets, and provided a safe place for our bikes.
