RomaniaLocated only 30min away from Amsterdam (by train), this little hotel is awesome outside peak season for visiting multiple regions close to Amsterdam, and Amsterdam district. Train station is 5min away by foot.
During peak season, there's a generous beach within 10 min walk distance, so very convenient.
The room was spacious, warm and sunny, with lovely old wood furniture, clean, large and modern bathroom.
On premise kitchen had everything you needed, in case you decided to cook, but even just for a quick coffee or breakfast
Hosts were very friendly and accomodated us as soon as we arrived, even if it was not yet the check-in time. They also allowed us to leave luggage with them after check-out, for a few more hours, until we had to head towards the airport.
All in all, we loved our stay at La Rosa. Thank you.

Inflation is a common thing, but Zandvoort tops it all.
Inflation is a common thing, but Zandvoort tops it all. Parking for the week was 120 €. In town you have to pay 4€ for the first two hours (minimum time), thereafter 7 € per hour.
Frikandel from the FEBO vending machine was 3 € a piece. More expensive than in Alkmaar (2.40€) and even Amsterdam.
Kibbeling varied in quality, but we found a good place at the beach (7.50 € with 4 sauces!).
Restaurant were generally very "greedy". Top prices for Pizza Margherita 14.50 €, Tomato Soup 9 €, Cheesecake 9 € and Schnitzel with fries and salad 37.50 €!!!! Petrol about 30-35 cents per liter more than in Germany. I don't know how families with children can afford these prices??? I believe that other locations in The Netherlands are more reasonable, for example Provinz Zeeland, which we visited earlier this year. Zandvoort is for "High Society"!!!???

We absolutely loved our stay in Zandvoort.
We absolutely loved our stay in Zandvoort. There’s an excellent selection of restaurants by the beach (though most close after autumn), and plenty of cosy and charming places to eat in the town centre. The connection to Amsterdam is excellent — direct Sprinter trains run every half hour and make it so easy to explore the city. We also enjoyed long walks through the beautiful Zuid-Kennemerland National Park, with its peaceful trails, dunes, and wildlife. Overall, it’s a wonderful seaside town, and we’ll definitely be back!

Can’t comment much on the beach bars as we’ve not really used them
A nice little selection of shops, you can get pretty much everything you need for your stay, right on the doorstep. 3 supermarkets all within a few mins’ walk of each other, plus lots of lovely smaller shops for groceries too

Zandvoort was a good base with shops and restaurants.
Zandvoort was a good base with shops and restaurants. We visited the Circuit Park. We also enjoyed visiting Leiden by train and Kinderdijk UNESCO World Heritage site by car.
We ate at the Bella Italian restaurant near the railway station and various other places.

We visit this area because it is close to our three grandchildren so not necessarily a holiday. But we really like Zandvoort. It has plenty of good restaurants that we like including the Grand Cafe and Andreas.

Great location, lovely quiet town but has a few lively bars open until 3am if you want that. Stunning beach and great beach bars and restaurants. 15 mins on train to Haarlem and 30 mins on train to Amsterdam. Very friendly and would definitely go to Zandvoort again.

Totally great - We loved it. 10/10 Thanks Frans! Highly recommended, because it’s near to Zandvoort Centrum, Supermarket and the beach. We had our own parking slot in front of the door which was pretty great.
Frans is a great host :) Frans was there for us immediately and we were able to reach him easily by phone and in person.
Please note that there is no bathroom door. But you can see that in the pictures before booking.
I think it's a converted garage, really cool.

We found this was a good place to stay for all our needs. It is well located for local shops, restaurants and attractions in Zandvoort, walks along the beach and dunes, as well as easy access to Amsterdam via the local train station. Our room was comfortable, clean, had an independent entrance and the private parking was useful as this was part of a travelling holiday. Danyu (owner) was very helpful too during this stay. We will return here in the future. Many thanks.

Free parking in front of the door, very nicely decorated sweet little appartament in the center of Zandvoort. Sea at walking distance. Also very easy to find bus stop and train station. Everything was clean and everything what you need available. Hosts very nice and helpful... And of course the racing Circuit of Zandvoort nearby ! We also brought our dog for a little extra price but worth it, she loved the beach !
