A really special place with a very welcoming and nice staff. We spent only one night there but it was so cozy that it felt longer, almost like home. The interior attracts intention. And the breakfast!!!! The best on our trip - with pankakes, so yummy!

The owner welcomed us with a big smile and explaining us everything needed, he was very kind. The apartment is one of more, located in a house on the road and close to the river, in the middle of nature. The house has everything needed and was comfortable. We would come back soon :)

Eidfjord is a really beautiful city. We enjoyed every moment there with those landscapes. Mountains, river and sandbeach will give you more relaxiation. You will have everything that will need for your stay. There is a small supermarket as well though we didn't think about the price ;-)

Eidfjord is a very practical location since from there is...

Eidfjord is a very practical location since from there is access to many activities and visits that I would recommend such as Vøringsfossen, Kjeåsen, Norsk Natursenter - Hardanger and a lot of sensational excursions. Apart from that you have Hardangerfjord, the Ulvik/Voss area, Hardangervidda just a few kilometers away by car. And the town is small, quiet and charming.

Eidfjors is an idyllic place with many things to do or enjoy...

Eidfjors is an idyllic place with many things to do or enjoy. As main attractions you have the waterfall of Vøringsfossen, the norwegian nature center museum and the farms and views of Kjeåsen. Apart from that, other spectacular waterfalls and fantastic hikes. It is also a good place to relax and do nothing.

Excellent stay at this Hotel. Perfect location for my travels through western Norway. If you like modern facilities this isn’t the hotel for you, but I loved the character of the place taking me back in time. Rooms are basic but enough for what I needed. Major pro was its proximity to Voringfossen Waterfall which just a few steps outside the doors. Staff very friendly and helpful.

A nice room in an historical building. The building is beautiful. Room was a bit small but fine. WIFI was fast and stable. Breakfast was OK. Shared restrooms and shower were fine too. The hotel has a restaurant (that I did not try it)

Room was spacious, location great just by the fjord. Peaceful and quiet location. Breakfast very good - wide choice of breakfast food. Free parking right by the hotel. Clean, comfy beads and room was for 4 persons was very spacious.

Everything :-) Location, rooms, dinner in the restaurant on the ground floor. Yes, breakfast was at another hotel nearby, but at least got a walk in the morning and could admire the beauty around us.
