We were very pleased we could bring our little dog with us, we were upgraded to a bigger 2 bedroom unit which made it more enjoyable, and when I asked if we could have a later checkout in the morning that was also able to be achieved as well. The nice lady was very friendly and accomodating🙂

Staff and room were fine although could have used a double bed in the lounge area rather than a large Queen which took up too much space

Is a lovely town, the weekend we were there was clear at night and sunny during the day which made a big difference too.Has a more laid back feel and not as crazy busy as nearby Queenstown. The old part of the town is interesting and great to walk around as is closed off to traffic so you can walk around at leisure, also has a nice cafe with good food and coffee😁

Very secluded getaway location pretty much designed specifically for wine makers because there wineries for Africa there, but the town lacks in offering much else as a reason to go there unless you’re into tramping (the surrounding areas are tailor made for it) - very little tourist attractions offered in the township compared to nearby Wanaka which punches well above its weight.

Great for wine tasting, especially also at Bannockburn, Lowburn and Northburn. Particularly recommended a booking at Felton Road. Waterpark adds a new dimension. Walking and cycling. It can be windy and also grey in winter.

It had been 12 years since we last visited Cromwell.
It had been 12 years since we last visited Cromwell. Not surprisingly it had grown and changed significantly - and for the better. The town has a pleasant ambience about it and the people appear very relaxed. Everything one wants is there and there is a comprehensive range of retail and hospitality. We liked our trip so much that we shall be returning for a more thorough look around.

It is a friendly, well-kept town with fabulous scenery.
It is a friendly, well-kept town with fabulous scenery. Very close to Arrowtown and Queenstown without the traffic hassles (especially of Qtown). It has a reasonable number of shops, enough restaurants and pubs. we didn't have kids but there seemed to be plenty of places for them to run around and play. it felt safe and inviting.
An absolutely brilliant place to stay at if you are in Cromwell. A truly lovely host, and an absolutely warm friendly and inviting home. The breakfast with homemade preserves the next morning took it to the next level. 10/10 the best we have come across by far :)
A good, reasonable price for an accommodation to stay while in Cromwell, close to shops, quiet rooms, has basic kitchen items you can use, it doesn’t have exhaust or fan in the kitchen so cooking light is recommended. Towels are change daily, rubbish bins clean.
Warm, comfortable, spacious and well appointed. In walking distance to three very good restaurants.
Te Kano Estate Cellar Door is a must visit. The Black Rabbit Restaurant (Next Door) was outstanding, as was the Bannockburn Hotel, and further afield, Armando's.
Extremely comfortable well appointed unit. The views at any time of day were exceptional. Our host Fran welcomed us and checked that we had all wee needed for our stay. She was keen to provide information about the neighborhood as well as Cromwell itself.
The location was amazing, at the foot of the gondola in central Queenstown. We parked the car and walked into town for the afternoon and an early dinner. The views to The Remarkables mountain range in the setting sun were a perfect end to the evening.
The place was MASSIVE - so much bigger than I thought it would be! Easy to find, heaps of parking, very clean and very modern, well appointed, very very impressed. We'll definitely be back next time we're staying in Cromwell.
Tidy, renovated motel equipped with essential amenities, conveniently located within walking distance of all attractions. The manager was enthusiastic about providing recommendations for places to visit.
A well-equipped pleasant motel; bathroom recently renovated to high standard; added bonus of swimming pool and outdoor sitting area; wine glasses in the fridge was a nice touch.
